About this mod
Ever got annoyed by having to start a reload all over when being interrupted? This mods adds staged reload to the game for most guns.

Jokes aside...
Known issues:
- audio of the skipped reload stages will still play, more noticeable the louder the sound effects are (depends on the gun). Still investigating a workaround.
- in some animations V is holding the gun in an angle, which will happen abruptly when skipping parts of the animation. Nothing I can really do about this, sorry.
- since I had to manually get the "timestamp" of the stage transitions, some animations might be incorrect, I'm a human after all and each weapon has 6 different reload variants. Each weapon was tested but please report if you see any weird stuff going on using the bug report example below!
Installation:
- download and install the latest version of Cyber Engine Tweaks
- download and install the latest version of Redscript
- download this mod's zip file and copy paste its contents to the game installation directory
Default installation directories:
Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077
GOG: C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077
Epic: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Cyberpunk 2077
You can use vortex too, but make sure to install both CET and Redscript as well beforehand!
Bug report example:
Weapon: weapon name
Stage: mag out / mag in / handle pull / you idiot the whole thing is f#!ked
Observation: animation starts too early/late, a whole stage gets skipped, etc...
If there are issues not related to the animations themselves but something bigger just write down what you experienced and upload the StagedReload.log file somewhere found in Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\StagedReload
Compatiblity:
Should be compatible with everything, except (the list might grow as time goes on):
Manual Reload: technically compatible but only empty reloads will be manual, because my auto reload for normal reloads are custom and not in the vanilla game
Huge thanks to psiberx for helping me regarding CET and to learn how state transitions work in the game!
PS: List of weapons that I haven't implemented staged reload for because it didn't make sense or was janky:
- Budget Arms Carnage
- Rostović DB-4 Igla
- Techtronika RT-46 Burya
- Budget Arms Slaught-O-Matic
- Militech Mk. 31 HMG
- Constitutional Arms M2038 Tactician
