For anyone interested here is an update on my work-in-progress regarding this mod:
I have finally managed to create a new mesh for the Omaha with a compensator permanently attached and visually color-corrected. I have been learning and experimenting with Tweak Browser, and I can now somewhat alter weapon stats. I am currently in the process of creating my own standalone weapon. Additionally, I have successfully created a weapon that stays true to the original vision of the Baba Yaga. I believe I have found a way to change V's cutscene Unity to Baba Yaga, although I still need to test this.
Furthermore, I have successfully changed other weapons to the Omaha, but some have wonky reload animations. I need to continu...
