I have this weird bug where ambient music keeps looping after an event Looking for mods like this that replaces the music with silent audio clip to fix it
This is brilliant, and apparently you're the only one making any mods like this. I really want to replace all music files in the game with silence.
I just want to play my own music outside of game, and just have the games audio with zero in game music. Because of course it sounds awful with two different music tracks randomly playing over each other.
It strikes me as literally insane of CDPR to provide multiple music volume settings, and still play music even when all music volume settings are set to zero. Because there's world music scattered about, that has no setting...
I know, you have explained how to make such a mod for myself... but alas, I've only got a week to play this game, before my wife returns, lol.
This is working for me in 2.01; I haven't updated due to not wanting to comb through my many mods and update those as well. I use "SHUT UP ambience" (non-redmod) and it works perfectly. I skipped over the mod a few weeks ago thinking it was all music, and not optionally ambient or gang.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining! If you're interested in why I kept not checking the mod, it was the mod title. I thought "shut up mod - silencing music" meant all of the music in the game. If it had said "shut up mod - silencing ambient/gang music" I definitely would have checked sooner.
The architecture of this mod is compatible with any version of Cyberpunk. But there may be some file changes in 2.0, so some of ambients will be still playing
1. To cut it and make mod compatible with any other mods I will need CET skills. I never had to study it for my needs and programming is my weak spot. If you donate me, I will get it done, cause it is very long and difficult process for me. 2. If you ask to replace: I will need another track with similar length. 2,1. Also, a single mod about replacing "With Her" will be a trash mod which noone really needs. I have some trash mods made for my personal use installed and I don't publish them cause noone really needs them. So you can make it yourself using guide I just written in Samurai - Archangel APPEARS. It is not difficult for me, but I won't publish it, or I will, when it will be a part of something more.

And the ambient sounds of the city are so much better for it. In F04 i used to love to wander listening to the sounds of the wasteland without the music. The same with Night City and the badlands. I'd love to wander around.
It's a shame we can't add more sounds to the badlands. Like fox barking is a very eeri and awesome sound (youtube it).
Anyway thanks for the mod. I have been wishing for this every day since the game released.
Heya! Thanks for the mod Is there an option to turn off the annoying radio host who keeps telling the news in the middle of a song? I could not find a similar mod anywhere, is it possible to replace the news with empty sound files? Thanks
If I do that, it will be silence in every radio for ~2 minutes. I wish I could just turn this event off. But as for me now it is not as annoying as ambiences and gang themes. It is just like in real radios.
By the way - if you read description you know, I made this mod because noone tried to turn these tracks off. So maybe once I will make the mod you wish.
