The 1.0 version of this mod had a body mesh that was not supposed to be there. it has been removed, apologies for any confusion it caused. anyone who downloaded the 1.0 version should update to 1.1
So this made my PC crash on CP2077 startup. Literally, installed the non-Redmod version and the game crapped out. No idea how that is possible when this doesn't even have any requirements?
My feet are not switching with these shoes but they switch just fine with about 20 other shoe mods so I am at a loss. Any ideas? Load order did not help
This is not a toggleable / switch feet mod. They just made the vanilla shoes compatible with a permanent high feet mesh which was used in the olden times of Cyberpunk modding 😉 (old meaning before 2023 😅) They released this mod right before the toggleable / switch feet system was introduced. During 2023 until today it kinda has become the standard and this mod is basically obsolete. I've written about it in the posts before yours.
EDIT to clarify: This mod could only be useful to someone, who's not already using a modern body replacer with the toggleable feet system integrated. For example a body replacer like Solo Body with fixed high heel feet or similar.
Thanks that actually clarifies a lot. I've been using Spawn's fixed feet for a while which I had to uninstall when I started using switch feet. I installed this thinking it would replace that but it now makes sense that these use the same feet and Spawn's mods. Is there a mod that adds high heels to the vanilla shoes that works with switch feet?
Short answer: I don't know whether there are any comprehensive mods like that 😅
Long answer: Well, tbh there are not a lot of good reasons to have ALL vanilla shoes converted into specific high heels. Using the toggleable feet from any body mod, like a VTK variant (which includes Hyst mods) or the -KS- UV Body Compendium (With Switchfeet), just makes the standard vanilla shoes compatible with the feet. You don't need to tinker with them as they will just work out of the box either with the flat or high feet position depending on the shoe. Although, I believe it is more of a mid position, since none of the vanilla shoes for FemV are super high.
If you want certain high heels from the base game which are normally not usable by the player character or are not as high in vanilla, you can look for these mods and just install them seperately. They usually come with the toggleable feet system if they are not older than 2023. The corporate high heels (Meredith Stout) or Gladiator heels (Hanako) come to mind 🤔 (there are mods for both on the Nexus)
any plans to ever make this mod work with toggleable switchfeet, seeing as thats what most bodys use these days, and not high feet anymore? if u have the time and will to do so ofc i mean, just asking. well aware that modders like everyone else have their private lifes and work and whatnot, and not trying to sound ungratefull or demanding at all, but would love to use some of the Vanilla shoes with my EBB V (tryed the mod but as for many others, the toes poke out the front and the heel clips tru the bottom of the shoes -.-
if u ever rework the mod, it would be super duper highly appreciated ^^ <3
A little late, but to anyone who is still wondering about this topic: it's not necessary for the author to update this mod since the toggleable / switch feet system automatically makes vanilla shoes compatible with both body types. It's possible to use vanilla shoes and have high heels in the same game without swapping bodies around or needing replacers like this. Whenever a properly set up shoe mod calls for high feet, the toggleable feet system will give them to the player and whenever the player wears plain vanilla shoes, the character is gonna get flat feet.
So you basically just need the toggleable feet mod and then your favorite high heels or boots (with this feature). No need to tinker with the vanilla shoes, as they are automatically compatible with this set up.
These shoes replace the vanilla ones altogether. So you would just have to find or buy any of the vanilla shoes in the game and the mod would be in effect. However, you can't use it together with toggleable / switch feet. It's incompatible (and not needed).
I'm looking for clarification on why my Fem V's toes poke out of the ends of pointed heels and sandals. An example of vanilla heels: https://imgur.com/a/h5nifRf
mods I've installed in Vorbis with feet in the mod name: https://imgur.com/tOtP6ZD
Edit: I just removed Vanilla Shoes for High Feet in the archive folder
I'm having this same issue. I'm thankful for your feedback on this issue, although I'm not really sure what the archive method is for installing the patches. As in what do you do. I manually install my mods by copy/pasting into the archive folder, I haven't used RedMod at all.
I currently have these installed:
-KS- UV Texture Framework (Recommended. UV Framework New High Heel Feet with Custom Textures - Classic Install)
-KS- Vanilla Shoes for High Feet
And most recently is -KS- UV Body Compendium (With Switchfeet) using Solo OG
I would appreciate your help in this matter, thank you! :)
Is this mod not compitable with body mods that have togglable feet feature? Wearing vanilla heels will have clipping issues with this mod when using body mods that have togglable feet feature.
Well I guess that's a no after I looked into others' comments. But as seems most of the body mods have this togglable feet feature nowadays, are there any mods that still use high feet instead of togglable feet?
I'm using Solo small with high feet and I'm seeing my feet clip through, just noticed it on the corpo heels outfit in the Arisaka Heist mission. Did I install something wrong?

You could also just use the Toggleable Feet for V - ArchiveXL and EquipmentEx mod which adds the system to the plain old vanilla body. So you don't even need to use a body replacer at all.

via further experimenting, I'd disable both mods and then all high feel vanilla shoes show a metal bar texture over the ankles and none fit right.
Enabled this mod only. Still see metal bar textures , only some pumps don't show metal bar textures but the toes protrude and the heels drop.
Having both enabled (as redmod) no metal bar textures on any vanilla shoes, but the toes extend and the heel is dropped. Like the feet don't rise.
Going to try reinstalling both patches now but as classic archive.
