So bummed, too. Was actually enjoying driving in this game for once since I didn't have to keep looking at the mini map. Now I'm back to overshooting turns and accidentally hitting pedestrians. This should honestly just be a built in feature of the game.
It seems like the author hasn't had the time to update the nexus mod page, the updated version is on in his Github page. https://github.com/jackhumbert/in_world_navigation/releases <3
Gonna give it a whirl. I'm not new to nexus mods, but I sometimes forget to check EVERYWHERE for external links to things like github. If that version works, I'll be a happy camper zipping around night city without having to worry about missing turns. Thanks for pointing it out!
edit: Thank the heavens, I have my favorite mod back. It's working flawlessly.
I dunno, but I really wish someone would just make a "lite" version of this mod using the in game navigation already in the game when you're racing. Because this mod has noticeable performance hit, and in a game like Cyberpunk that's the last thing anyone needs.
You can set a higher max limit for the distances of the arrows (as well as a lower arrow count), by going editing the mod's "packed" file in notepad. Specifically, you're looking for the "Modsettings.min / max" and optionally the step size. They should be easy enough to find if you scroll down a bit, as the names of the options that you're messing with are listed.
Personally, I've been trying to go for a wider distance between arrows, so I'm not tracing the line, but just getting a friendly suggestion with a single arrow every block or so. So less "Go here", and more "In 500ft, turn left". I think this is the best compromise between nixing the minimap but still getting directions that aren't the exact same thing as the minimap on the road, and having some semblance of direction.
Like, if there was an option for this mod to just have a non intrusive arrow at intersections, that'd be perfect. I wanna get a feel for the city without relying on the minimap, but I also want to at least get to my destination. As it is by default, I'd say it's more intrusive than the minimap, but with the extra high distances between arrows, it's not as bad.

I was afraid it was just me!
Same issue, did you find a way to make it work?Specifically, you're looking for the "Modsettings.min / max" and optionally the step size. They should be easy enough to find if you scroll down a bit, as the names of the options that you're messing with are listed.
