I totally understand that feeling, Darkman. When someone likes something a lot, they can tend to be very critical of it and want to see it improved/updated to their individual tastes.
That being said, if you'd like to see more features added to something you enjoy, it might pay off to be a little nicer and a lot more specific about it. The author has given us an awesome car to scoot around the city in. The author made this in their spare time as a hobby, and what's more? They required no payment for their art. They shared it with us
Another option is to do it yourself! And I mean that in the most encouraging of ways. Join us over at the modding community discord server. Ask around and check the pinned comments for useful guides. With a little elbow grease you could become a mod author!
I'd love to see what kind of features you'd add to the Targa :)
This is a beauty, any chance to use this model as a replacer for another car, like the regular shion? I use CVO so this wouldn't be compatible, and I'd rather not download two mods for a single car
Just use this mod. I use it myself to change the model of the player-owned, vanilla Shion to the blue variant presented in this mod. Works for all other Vehicles in the game as well to change the player owned versions to NPC variants.
Dear author, first of all, thank you for making the mod. Here, I would like to give you some valuable suggestions: Hope to add a function of changing the color of the car, and hope to adopt it! Thank you.–––English is not good, please understand.
Dear author, first of all, thank you very much for replying to me in your busy schedule. Although this is a little advice, I think the experience of the game will be more perfect. Although it is difficult, I hope you can adopt it. Thank you again for making the mod.
Dear author, I think the vehicle can be purchased again or changed in color after it is purchased. I think it limits the freedom of mod, and I hope to adopt a little modification suggestion. I really look forward to this function, and thank you very much for making the mod.
make a copy of this file. open it with any text editor incuding notepad. copy the 2nd line Vehicle.vcd_mizutani_shion_targa_purchasable use "edit - replace" and replace all its instances with something else. for example: Vehicle.vcd_mizutani_shion_targa_purchasable_2 (i mean add _2, _3, _4 or change all this text to anything you want. but all its instances in every copy)
The way I changed the colour was to uninstall the mod... then make a game save. Exit the game again, and re-install the mod, then load said save. The vehicle will then be removed from your garage / spawn pool. So you are free to buy it again at the Virtual Atelier, and pick the new colour you wanted.
In your Cyber Engine Tweaks console you can just do a quick 82k money cheat to compensate for your loss. Game.AddToInventory("Items.money", 820000)
Pretty much the only mod I ever needed, and a mod I've wanted since the first time I saw the Targa version parked in that garage by that NCPD scanner hustle and realized I couldn't truly obtain it. Thanks man!
Exactly what made me looking for this mod. Just came across it again :) and that dark white (light gey color is perfect for it again. cruising it with retrowave and feeling like old time miami vice
