About this mod

This mod allows the user to replace one of V's hairstyles with Claire's bouncy and voluminous ponytail. This mod works for both feminine- and masculine-framed Vs, includes all colors in one file, and retains the 'woosh' factor of the original style.

If you've been looking for a way to steal Claire's cute ponytail for your V, you've come to the right place!

This hair mod:
  • is available for both feminine- and masculine-framed Vs, and with several options as to which hair to replace
  • will only replace V's hair, and will not impact any NPCs
  • works with all colors, including colors not previously available for Claire's hair and new 1.5 patch colors
  • retains the physics (the 'woosh') of the original hair style
  • has a custom shadow mesh that will display in FPP shadows

Styles:
  • NLD_ClaireHair_F01.archive - This file replaces fem V's hairstyle 01 with Claire's ponytail.

Installation:
  • Pick and download which file(s) you'd like to use.
  • Drop the appropriate .archive file(s) into your mod folder. It should be located at Cyberpunk 2077/archive/pc/mod . If you don't have this folder, you can just go ahead and make one.
  • Enjoy!

Uninstallation:
  • Delete the .archive file(s) from your mod folder.

Fine Print & Conflicts:
  • These files will conflict with other hair mods that aim to replace the same hairs; hair 01 replacer files will conflict with other hair mods that replace hair 01, hair 19 replacer files will conflict with other hair mods that replace hair 19, and so on.
  • The custom shadow mesh will not apply in photomode. This is true of all hair shadow meshes at present.

Much thanks to rfuzzo, the entire dedicated team behind Wolvenkit, and alphaZomega; this mod could not have been made without the use of Wkit, CP77Tools, and the 010 Editor template and scripts.

Thank you also to Halvkyrie for the modding guide that introduced me to Cyberpunk modding, and just generally to everyone over in the Cyberpunk 2077 Modding and AMM discords for posting many useful tutorials and tips. And a special shoutout to jsilverhvnd, for persistently pushing me to learn about bones. ;p

I'd love to see your screenshots, either shared here or, if you're posting them over on tumblr, please feel free to tag me!
