I realize this mod has not been updated in almost a year but is there any chance you might come back to this one day and make it a RadioExt version instead of a replacer?
Unfortunately not as such, since they override the same files. Only way is to pick which channel gets replaced. So if you replace Dirge with one set, and Pacific Dreams with the other, you should get most of the tracks. Best I can do for now, until we are able to add radio station, or more tracks per channel.
could this mean that at some point we could have a full ambient soundtrack rework of night city? i know this mod is for the radios but i imagine the ambient soundtrack could be changed to something more natural. I find that the current music when exploring the city is so repetitive and boring, it seems the devs mixed the background music with random chatter which constantly repeats....when walking into some dead areas where no NPCs are at you hear chatting and random laughing....like nobody is around why am i hearing that?
Yes, the actual ambient tracks could be replaced. I don't know the pathways for it myself, but it's possible. It could also be a situation where they run the crowd noise alongside the music tracks. Personally, I didn't really notice that particular issue; but I can't recall if I was paying particular attention for it...or just rolling with it.
