Love this reshade mate...best one I've tried yet!!

Only one question...whenever you focus on an object very close to the camera (and it gives item description) the camera goes completely out of focus.

I played around with the DOF and the culprit seems to be the "auto focus" and gets fixed when you turn it off. Unfortunatley the DOF doesn't look as nice when it is turned off!

    Any suggestions?

Unfortunately that's due to the way Reshade works, it's because it sees the UI itself as a distance plane so when the item description pops up it focuses on that and not the actual game world.  That's why I have a toggle button set for it, so you can turn it on for screenshots and off when playing.  If there were ENB for Cyberpunk it'd be a different story, as ENB excludes UI elements from its effects, but Reshade doesn't know the difference.

      Actually... <3
Not sure how it'll work for CP2077, but works just fine for TW3. Just a suggestion.

But it'll require a bit of setup from yourself. If it works fine for CP2077 too and literallybyronic will have time, they can try to add this to the preset itself as well.

From what I understand, UIMask.fx is good for static HUD elements, but with the amount of dynamic elements and backgroundless text for Cyberpunk it isn't feasible, as you'd end up with weird gaps in the effects whenever those UI elements aren't visible.

I see! Thank you for the clarification. Wasn't trying to say it'll work for sure - only to suggest. Better safe than sorry :)

Hopefully Reshade will get this feature in general one day, same as ENB has it.

I would absolutely love it if they figured out how but I'm not sure it's possible.  I know ENBs are built specifically for each game so they can interact with things like weather/time elements and exclude the UI, whereas things like Reshade and SweetFX are more of a one-size-fits-all overlay.  I'm not an expert by any means though, so maybe one day...

With ReShade 5.3 it doesn't seem to work at all now even for taking screenshots. Not sure what it's even trying to focus on but it doesn't update, it just seems stuck on a fixed point.

Hmm, did autofocus get turned off somehow in your DOF settings?   If not I'll try to check it out soon and see if I can replicate.

Hey Eva. Thank you for reminding me about the film Strange Days, we just rewatched it.
I can't believe its 26 years old, still feels fresh, and most relevant in light of what occurred last year.

I recommend to all 18+. Its got the original Braindance concept.
