Is Superior UI - Minimal White UI And World Map Recolor absolutely necessary to use with FILM? I tried out that mod and thought parts of the UI were blurred or dark. So the reason I asked here if it is necessary or not. Thank you for all you have done. The preset is pretty good from what I have seen in my game.
It's simply the best preset for gameplay, and sadly super underrated! Though for personally its even better with the Filmic Anamorphic Sharpen effect disabled.
The reshade starts with the game, so once the loading screen is finished, you have to press the "home" key on your keyboard and the menu will appear, then you select the reshade one of the 4 presets : FILM - Cinema Edition (Low Flares) .ini, FILM - Cinema Edition (Medium Flares) .ini, FILM - Cinema Edition.ini, FILM - Standard Edition.ini. So when you install the presets, you can optionally create a "reshade-preset" folder in your "x64" folder and drop your .ini files there.
I as well have downloaded, and followed your instructions when installing this mod, however opening Reshade, i am not seeing any of these listed: FILM - Cinema Edition (Low Flares) .ini, FILM - Cinema Edition (Medium Flares) .ini, FILM - Cinema Edition.ini, FILM - Standard Edition.ini, What did you call them or label them? When I open Reshade, I am seeing this error: "Some effects Failed to compile bessel_bloom .fx local contrast CS.fx
I am not seeing any of the varied .ini files anywhere in the reshade selection drop down
^^^^Disregard...Very little caffeine, very late at night, lol placed these manually rather than vortex link and it works fine
It's refreshing to see a balanced grade without grandiose titles and descriptions such as 'project reality', 'photorealism' or 'I finally made the game playable', good job.
If I could offer a suggestion (filmmaker here), I'd say see about creating a saturation curve across luma spectrum, if you have access to such tools, so that it is not so uniformly strong across the board and instead falls off gradually from mids towards shadows and highlights for a more natural and filmic look. I'd also tone down a few specific colourways, most notably the green-blue spectrum, so that the sky is more subty cyan-white and less agressively oversaturated blue and vegetation is a little bit more arid as appropriate to the gameworld. Take

Good stuff otherwise.
