Hmm that's odd. I just updated the game and tested it and it's working for me? Those 2 specific functions in the game code didn't change at all either. What kind of "not working" are you experiencing?
Is it possible to make zooming in not effect the audio like it does. I hate how when I zoom in on someone's face who is talking and their voice gets quieter.
thanks for this. Personally, I enjoy the effect and so not interested in the mod, but I was wandering if you could try and create a variant: no auto-zooming when pressing ADS (default mouse2) empty handed. That would be so grant.
Oh, I actually don't mind the effect, but it screws up photomode when you enter it while zoomed-in so that's why I made this mod. As for what you're asking, that's totally not a variant. That changes completely different parts of the code, and I don't see the usage in that? Couldn't you just, not press right mouse button when empty handed?

The point and benefit of removing forced zoom from ADS is twofold: you don't the annoying forced zoom when aiming with weapons which I don't like and don't need in a pc version of the game and you gain a fully-fledged walk button without a need for additional mods and keymaps which already are pretty buggy in the game.

I like zooming in during dialogue and things like that, but there's a distortion effect added when zoomed in further than the first zoom.
