This is my farovite place and as we all know, it's one of the ugliest apartment options. Naturally, I wanted to make it look better.
I'd say it's my first official mod, and started as a fun pastime since I love building (hardcore The Sims builder), and it snowballed to a serious business type of project. Probably took me a couple of months, and between all the "omg this is looking so good" and "fluff this I give up" every single time, I did it. It's here and it's done, finally!
It took me mighty effort and patience since every single detail was very carefully placed thanks to my OCD caboose, so I hope everyone appreciates it. You will find lots of nice small details and "easter eggs" alluding to moments in the game or people in V's life, all throughout the place.
- I removed a lot of things from this apartment, so a collision node or two might be around, but none that's really in the way since they were all replaced by other furniture.
- Removed cables and billboards in front of the window to maximize the view, also removed all the shutters.
- The place is completely clean, meaning I removed all the dirt from walls, floors and anything else I could find, inside and out in the hallway.
- This apartment was built using my Japantown - Clean with Moody Lights as base, hence the dim lights and overall tidiness.
- Compatible with Apartment Cats - Japantown.
- Once I manage to wrap my head around NIF, interactions with the coffee machine, tea set and bean bag will be added.
Installation:
The mod should go in archive > pc > mod > (mod name). There are 3 files, make sure they're all installed for the mod to work.
After installing them, you just need to load your game and the new apartment will be there.
Uninstalling:
The same process but in reverse. Remove all 3 mod files from your mod folder in archive > pc > mod > (mod name).
Incompatibility:
This mod will conflict with any other mods that also edits the apartment.
I think that's all, I hope you guys enjoy it. And if I remember anything I update here, bye!
A huge thank you to keanuwheeze for helping me figure out how to make this mod work.
This mod was made using World Builder, removalEditor and WolvenKit.
