Hello ! I'd really like to have such a lightning source correction for my actual playthrough. But i don't understand well : the only items your mod turns into "flashlights" are end-game items ? I don't understand what you're calling "armored vest"... Is it possible to benefit from your mod before end-game ? It would be great for conversations inside cars, for example, or in darky places.
The best way to use mods right now is to spawn the items through the console from Cyber Engine Tweaks. With CET you can also install Wear What You Want to get, at least somewhat, control over the stats.
Use one of these commands in the console (depending on your choice it might replace the dog-tags or the vest):
Until Cyber Engine Tweaks is updated this seems like the best bet for a flashlight mod. Is there any way to have a version that uses V's favorite style items you start the game instead of waiting till you get Johnny's Top to have a wrist mounted flashlight?
Probably going to answer this myself in a moment, but I'll throw it out there in case others have the same question. Say I'm wearing Johnny's top, but I'm using the new wardrobe function to show something else... Will it still work?
Is this mod still useful? Since we have CET based Simple Flashlight, and for photomode we have spawnable lights in the decor tab (Appearance Menu Mod). I made it long time ago, as a temporary solution.
Well, tbh you should just use IGCS or customisable light sources from Appearance Menu Mod for photomode. That's what I do myself. I'm not going to change this mod now, sorry.
Alright. This will most likely be the dumbest question you have ever gotten: Any way to add light to other Outer Torso items like rally jackets, uummm pozer jackets, etc,...? I have been dying to use this on more outerwear and have the outerwear show at the same time the light is being used. I don't know if this has been covered/asked so thought I would ask you here. I absolutely love your mod(s)! And I thank you profusely for them. <3 If you happen to be taking queries on Discord, I would love to get an invite to your server if it's at all possible. =0))
I stopped using this mod myself long time ago. I think there are better alternatives now. You can spawn light sources with Appearance Menu Mod or CyberLit; the flashlight functionality is covered by Simple Flashlight mod.
Aah okie. Me and AMM just don't mix so no go there lol. I am still using your mod because, well, light. xD It doesn't kill me to just find a well-lit area in game if I want to wear a jacket so all is good. Thank you so much for getting back to me. You rock!! <3
Wooo, haven't played Cp77 in a while...updating all my mods for a new playthrough...this mod is one of my essentials...but for the life of me, I can't remember...is this light always ON, or can we set a keybind to toggle it?
And again, thank you for this hella awesome must have essential mod! \o/ <3

Use one of these commands in the console (depending on your choice it might replace the dog-tags or the vest):
ID:
Dog-tags (equipped with Johnny's Top):
Game.AddToInventory("Items.Q005_Johnny_Shirt", 1)
Armored vest:
Game.AddToInventory("Items.Vest_03_old_02",1)
Thanks for your answer ;)
Does the vest HAVE to be showing for the light to be there?
