Awesome. I noticed the custom Omaha Baba Yaga seems incompatible with Gunsensical. Am wondering if I should remove all the Omaha scripts and then try it or if there might some how be a fix in the future.
Baba Yaga is next on my list, though I took a look at it's files and it seems to handle it's damage scripting a little differently than the Jericho. It might take a few days.
Sorry to bother you -- is creating a similar mod something hard to learn for someone who has no experience with CP2077? I really want to do it for stuff like Extra Iconics... I'd really appreciate it if you could point me in a general direction.
Another question, though, is Gunsensical's creator says some weapon mods don't even need to be adapted since they are kinda "affiliated" to vanilla guns stats I guess. Would it be difficult for me to find out in the first place before creating an unnecessary mod?
Depends on how familiar you are with code already. Best way to learn if you can read code is just to open up the .yaml files.
In most cases weapon mods should be working well with Gunsensical but some of them call back on vanilla values in a way that subverts or bypasses (unintentionally) the changes Vanilla does to them. How would you find out whether YOUR specific mod does this? Just load the game, spawn the item via the CET console and compare the damage to a vanilla weapon of equivalent tier. If the values are similar, then no patch is needed.
I'll do all of his guns that I use, which isn't a lot but it is something. I really don't like broken animations, and since modders haven't figured out a way to add custom ones yet it leaves a lot of Sabbath's with unfortunate clipping.
