All of my previous iconic weapons + 7 new original ones (almost doubled the number).
This bundle should also happen to cover all weapons that were, natively, missing an iconic variant.
These new iconic weapons are located all around Night City.
Some at weapon shops, others at unusual vendors, a few in locations that require some exploration to reach, one which will not want to be found.
If you had the old standalone versions of some of these weapons, then you should uninstall those and install this bundle instead as those versions are now obsolete and going to be deprecated. It is safe to do so, your items will remain (deprecated files are in the "\archive\pc\mod\" folder, named: DesertSnake, Firestorm, SliceAndDice, NetHound, HighDoom, PlasmaShotgun, Tzijimura).
You also should not worry at the increased installation requirements as: those frameworks are a necessity for making truly original weapons, they won't change your game on their own, and the game itself isn't getting updated as often as years ago.
All my (possible) future iconic weapons will be added to this bundle, so you can track for updates and additions.
> Special Delivery (Sor-22)
War crime delivery system.
Fires high-impact explosive devices that will arm upon embedding in a valid target. Reloading the weapon will trigger all active devices in signal range.
Shoot them back and explode them. Throw their bodies and detonate them.
Can be found on the Akuma.
> Ghost Blade (Katana)
The flickering shard of a lingering spririt. The proverbial Ghost in the Scabbard. It is said that only the supplicants of the killer of souls can witness its light.
Damage is entirely divided between Thermal, Electric and Chemical types. The non-physical nature of the blade means it can't be used to block attacks, but it also ignores all forms of armor.
It's worth the riddle and the search.
> Mistifier (Senkoh)
The fancy accessory, for people that want to break barriers.
Piercing through solid barriers will cause a wave of shrapnel that knocks down the enemies hiding behind them.
Can be found, forgotten, in Charter Hill's shopping area.
> Danger Room (Shigure)
The rust on this iron is from the blood of both its victims and its users. Beware enclosed rooms.
Fires ricocheting shrapnel that's bound to bounce everywhere. Hits after 2 or more bounces are guaranteed criticals. Too primitive to interface with Ballistic Coprocessor cyberware.
Deformed bullets might help little against armor, but they wreak havoc on soft flesh.
Can be found at Kabuki's Gunshop.
> Thunderstrike (Tech LMG)
Who said that lightning can't strike twice?
Charged shots with the secondary fire will cause stunning emp explosions.
Can be found in a shady corner of Downtown.
New weapon type! Due to this, photomode poses won't grip it right. If you want to take pictures with it, use Game.AddToInventory("Items.SJ_Thunderstrike_Prop") to get a destroyable, fake, version that will pose correctly.
> Mercy (Nowaki)
Non-lethal, airgun, variant. Fires sedative darts that slow the target and deal non-lethal damage over time. Affected enemies that fall unconscious will emit a cloud of noxious fumes.
Can be found near the junk vendor of Jackson Plains.
> Gambiteer (Palica)
Smart (and rich) thugs use smart weapons to solicit debtors. Work smarter, not harder.
Improved projectiles. Smart targeting is set to prefer locking on legs. Leg shots knock down the victim, easily wound the limb, and are always non-lethal.
Can be found at the site of the Tyger and Vulture Gig.
> PS-11A Plasma Gun (Carnage)
Prototype of portable plasma shooter. Unwieldy to handle, single charge chamber, slow moving projectile. Absolutely devastating.
Fires a shell of scorching plasma that sets enemies on fire and compromises their defense materials. Highly experimental, highly illegal.
It doesn't have to contend with pellet spread, but you might want to get close anyway in order to compensate for the slower, fancy, projectile.
Can be bought at the gun shop outside the Sunset Motel once at level 25 or above.
> High Doom (Overture)
Shoot explosive bullets, or engage the Smart Link and fan the hammer.
When the Smart Link is not actively engaged, bullets will forego the guidance system and conserve their fuel for an explosion on impact.
Can be bought from Frank's Emporium of dubiously acquired goods (Kabuki), once at level 17 or above.
When using the optional file to unlock modslots, its slots will be divided between Power and Smart mod options.
> Desert Snake (Tamayura)
Its bite will not be denied.
Primary fire has increased stopping power and deals additional Chemical damage. Secondary fire deals little damage, but bursts into small clouds that apply Poison and inhibit healing effects.
Can be bought from Rancho Coronado's Gunshop, once at level 25 or above.
> Slice (Machete)
Dance around your enemies. Leap attacks reduce enemy armor. Block attacks stun the target.
Can be found on Kabuki's rooftops.
> Dice (Lexington)
Bullets have a small chance of applying a random status-effect. Charged shots deal extra electrical damage that is increased on enemies affected by Slice's stun, Thunderous Wrath, or Cyberware Malfunction.
Charged shots don't pierce through cover, by design, this is a ricochet weapon through and through. You may need Ricochet Redux to enjoy this fact, and you may also want Keep Drawing The Line and Extra Hands.
Can be found at Pacifica's Gunshop, once at level 25 or above.
> Firestorm (Ajax)
Embrace the purging fire.
Automatic fire will increase enemy elemental vulnerabilities for 10s (max 5 stacks). Semi-automatic fire will cause incendiary explosions that deal increased thermal damage.
Can be bought from the Totentanz's bartender, once at level 17 or above.
> Net Ram (Ashura)
Aimed Headshots fire a breaching dart that does no damage, but briefly jams the target's cyberware as it tracks other devices in their network.
Can be found at the site of an op gone wrong, in Biotechnica Flats.
> Net Hound (Ashura)
Aimed Headshots from Stealth fire a specialized hardware sniffer that does no damage, but starts tracking all devices on the target's network and scambles their memories of the breach. Silenced, only breaches while stealthing around.
Can be bought at the netrunner shop in Japan Town, once at level 41 or above.
> Tzijimura (Shingen)
Developed by Arasaka as a gift for a specific, anonymous, operative that was exposed to corporate secrets during an operation. Both a benefit and a reminder: Arasaka's enemies are always in its reach.
Fully automatic. While aiming, homing functionality is disabled, but bullet velocity is increased and shots will pierce through walls.
Can be bought at the gun shop by the docks, once at level 9 or above.
You might also want:
- Ricochet Redux: enable ricochet on explosive bullets and silenced weapons, customize angles, earn additional bounces.
- Keep Drawing The Line: enhanced compatibility of attack previews on hybrid weapons, choose how/when to see the line.
- Actually Smart Weapons: reweighted target priority into better tracking performances, enable/disable suboptimal locks.
- Weapon Handling Control: tweak variables you didn't have control of, enable new features that increase gunplay quality.
- Berserk Unchained: keep using guns during Berserk.
