Can anyone tell me, how i use the mod? I've installed it and also have the core mods installed so it should work, but when i hack the Vending machines nothing happens. I deactivated all other mods but that didn't help. I just don't know what to do to make it work

you don't need to deactivate anything, just put the mod in its proper folder path and it should be working fine also do this manually

You do the distract enemy hack and it will drop the money.

    Thx for great immersion mod!
I have a question: which line of "VendingMachineHacked.reds" set money amount per one roll of cash? Or "amount per roll" hadcoded by vanilla? Just can't see it in text, only random of rolls.

That's a lot of free money, it would be great to use the hacking minigame instead, and/or to kill the machine afterward

How do I use the mod? When I press the machine it drops the original item, when I press distract enemies, it drops several items that I don't know if it's money, and you can't pick it up.

This is an interesting idea but drops too much money in my opinion. If you could make it drop a certain amount of eddies (50-200) and less often I think it would be a good balance.

      +1

      I would agree with this.

This is a great mod but would even better if it could be tweaked down.

I went into the .reds file to try and tinker with it. Because its linked to dropping a defined money shard (.MoneyShardUncommon) it can only go up in value.

.MoneyShardCommon doesn't seem to exist to try to reduce the value and .MoneyShard means it drops shards worth exactly E$1 which is too low.

Random output with junk AND money or in some cases just junk or in other cases all money JACKPOT would be more realistic and better balance. Great mod! Thank you!

Maybe even a bad outcome like instant stars or electrocution or something would put more investment - higher tech or hack level is less chances of this or something like that. Just an idea.

Would be helpful to know what you consider "core mods" so we, especially people just starting to mod the game, know what's actually required for this to function.

It just works for me, Hackable Vending Machines Drop Money Shards did not list any mod prerequisites unless the mod author forgot to add this info, it happens :). FYI I have over 300 mods installed so I've most of the core mods installed like ArchiveXL, TweakXL, RED4ext, redscript, Cyber Engine Tweaks etc. I think it could be redscript base on the same folder used by Better Vending Machine Hacking from yakuzadeso.

For manual installation on Steam, extract the content into the Cyberpunk 2077 root folder.

Hello, Thank you for your assistance Deunan2105, as he said: Yexcor1 so any mod requires all your core mods installed, I didn't list that because nowadays they are all essential so everyone must have them

Where do you put the file?  I can't get it to work with manual install.  I tried the r6 folder but it didn't work.
