Yeah, that's one heck of a ferocious beast and it's no easy feat to get it under control. Nevertheless, that's the inherent nature of it. Moreover, this newly adjusted reduced throttle setting enables more vehicles to be put into use. Maybe try tapping and sliding instead of holding to make a compromise with it more feasible. or try Ctrol button instead( a more tender touch). It is more likely to cause crashes rather than good memories unless you treat an irritable performance fiend with tender touch and charming smile, Lulz, isn't it....lol
Well.. after driving several times of Quadra Turbo V-Tech today, I found this set of acc settings also fits it, Including accelerations by "W" , And other options "Shift" and "Ctrl" are good as well....So i'm not quiet sure about what is the "messed up" you mentioned.... Maybe you have tuned the vehicle? not sure, don't know...
"controller friendly" is there preset bindings for it as well or can everything be set up in CET or Mod settings? Also, does this effect mod vehicles? Only mentions controller friendly in the description.
Well, there's no change regarding the controller. The operations related to it remain exactly the same as before, which means the gravity-center still needs to be manually distributed.(wheelies like a hard-core player)
Regarding the second question about whether it affects the control behavior, yes, it will, it only tweaks the control behavior. As for whether it affects mod vehicles, the answer is no. It only adjusts the control behavior and doesn't have an impact on the functionality or performance of mod vehicles.
Sorry, one more question but two parts... Are wide and tight turns with acceleration dependent on center mass like the wheelies & braking? like a real bike when speeding in a turn. Does pushing it create more G-force = better traction = tighter turns or we having to decelerate or even break? If so can these dependencies be changed in the mod itself? I'm currently using the 'Better bike handling' mod and it is far better than vanilla control but still lacks in fast corners unless breaking at turn and accelerate mid turn. Even then it's sketchy. Best is best with Yaiba. Arche is horrible. Normally I would just try it but Better bike handling mod is no longer available and I don't want to delete it to install this and this not be what I'm looking for. Hope you understand. Appreciate you time in response.
Well, I just edited what V actually does when accelerating and decelerating. V leans forward and leans back to gain better frictional force where it's needed. It's simple yet efficient especially in front of curves. There are no complex physical mechanics or anything like that in this mod. It's just a simple technique that's almost every skillful riders do in the real world and compatible with almost everything. And if the mod you mentioned is Cyber Bike Overhaul, then they are compatible. That mod tweaks some parameters for all bikes in general, while this mod allows you to shift your body forward or backward with appropriate degree on your bike when accelerating or decelerating.
Oh!! I finally got it, You were discussing what we should do in game to gain a better handle towards bikes during turns in first part, and i say yes to better traction/ tighter turns and "we having to decelerate or even brake", no to "better G-force", it's internal force by physics, specifically the interaction forces between V and the motorcycle, like when V pushes the bike or vice versa. The total G-force of V and the motorcycle always remains constant.
"Are wide and tight turns with acceleration dependent on center mass like the wheelies & braking?"
yes, but i found everything i can do about it is this mod.
Hi, I have two questions, the first is if it is intentional that the gravity can be put too much forward and losing any control over the bike as a result, so there is balancing to it, unlike the standard bike simulators, where the weight on the front wheel usually means only better traction?
And the second is if anybody knows if this mod is compatible with that one: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/18736?
just to clarify i shouldnt see my character lean forward or backward when speeding or braking correct? this just changes accelerations etc as if we were doing this to simulate better driving control? and if i want to do wheelies just use a controller. thx for mod, have good day
Boi do i wish that bike existed in the game be it originally or via modders, it's the most amazing looking bike i've seen so far & i'd drive nothing but it for eternity.
You mean Cruiser Motorcycle? In the game, the vehicle model that is closest to a cruiser motorcycle is the Arch, which is the bike model that Jackie used. You can try this Remove Windscreen with Arch bikes if you like.
I installed the mod last night and it worked great, until this morning I logged on and I couldn't move. After I used the arrow keys my character was stuck walking in the same direction I parked my bike but sideways. This happened after I waited on a bench for one of the racing quests, and ceased after I uninstalled it. Great mod otherwise
Just used up/down arrow keys several times before finishing a race and then saved and loaded this save like you did. Nothing special occurred, and the game and all mods were running normally.
You should disable all other mods and leave only this mod enabled to be sure before reporting the issue you met.
I am not able to do wheelies anymore (lean front and back are arrow up and down). Stoppies working fine with hand break and lean forward but can't seem to make wheelies work. Riding Jackie's arch. Please anyone help!
I'm now trying to figure out a way to do front wire wheelies with the mod, but not sure.... But you can still do it in the air without pressing W or Shift.
No, I They already did, that is what descriptions do. totally different thing. I dont know that much and unfortunately i currently dont have passion to do so. Hope you may finally figure it out if you like.
Same problem here. Sitting in a car, pressing left shift has no effect at all. I copied the RealisticDriving.xml to steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input. Is there anything else I need to do? Do I need to bind any keys (I am using default keyboard mapping).
this mod currently has no problem of taking effect, i personally suggest you check your mod list to find if there is any duplicate mod of vehicle handling function, or you can do the old school way: leave this mod alone then check if there is any issue. inputloader and RED4ext are needed.

Why don't I notice it?
to be clear, SPACE just causes you to come to a complete halt, its impossible to drift in a car using space anymore
thx for mod, have good day

It needs inputloader and RED4ext to work.I copied the RealisticDriving.xml to steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\input.

inputloader and RED4ext are needed. Thanks a lot for your tweak as it makes the keyboard driving much more accessible!
