It's just a simple ini file and really saved the game for me thanks. No input lag or frame drops anymore. Is the crowd system still broken maybe? The standing pedestrians are still there which is good to me, so it's not completely empty. Only the walking zombies are gone.
when im up in the sky with flying mod i can see cars, but once i get close they are gone, so my question is does this actually get rid of them and doesnt render them OR does it still render them but make them invisible? im not seeing any fps difference i dont think
no, this mod worked, ive tested myself, [Crowd] Enabled = false EnablePedestrians = false ( removed npc that the one who walk, removed npc that has umbrella and walking) EnableVehicles = false
this mod will not remove npc that already there which is fixed to be there such as trader and others that sitting on the chair
If some peds/civilians still appear, it meant to so the game ain't broken. This only removes the procedurally generated ones. Sure Night City becomes a ghost town but game becoming far more playable
For those who want more or less peds, you have to make sure this is in your user.ini file: [Crowd] SpawnLimit = X There is no engine limitation to this as far as I have tested (And I've tested some ludicrous numbers.) The default value is 3 (at least when crowd density is set to high.) I'm not exactly sure how people keep failing to add this setting. The differences for me were immediately evident when I set it to 0, 1, and 1000. Perhaps there is a quirk somewhere?

Additional benefits:
[Crowd]
Enabled = false
EnablePedestrians = false ( removed npc that the one who walk, removed npc that has umbrella and walking)
EnableVehicles = false
this mod will not remove npc that already there which is fixed to be there such as trader and others that sitting on the chair
why?
because some of it are part in any quest
This only removes the procedurally generated ones.
