If you encounter a compilation error and you are sure that you have installed all the required mods, then most likely you have confused "Mod Settings" with "Native Settings UI". Yes, these are different mods
I just spent HOURS sifting through my 400 mods, disabling and enabling in batches. my FPS would tank whenever i moved my mouse by 30 frames, no matter where.
Saw this comment and disabled this single mod; fps fixed. thank you.
it works amazingly, however there is a downside, it induces frame jitter, moving camera/aiming is less smooth, less reactive, while fps itself is great. Mostly unperceivable with motion blur, but with other mods with this side effect, the lack of smoothness could become noticeable. Tested on 75 fps with reflex, 5800x3d.
It appears to be true. I recently decided to replay the game and naturally installed some mods. The game felt very taxing on the eyes though for the few hours I played over these couples of days. I checked in all the mod pages to see if the comments could help me find the offender, and I found yours. Turned off the mod, loaded up a fully vanilla save from another playthrough and the game started to feel smooth again. For the record, the game hardly ever stutters, or jitters in its vanilla state on my hardware.
TLDR. If you are experiencing uneven frame pacing and have this mod installed, then removing it might just fix it for you.
yeah, i went back to a fresh install and was amazed how smooth the game was without billions of scripts in the background. It is essential to only keep the most wanted features in mods.
are u guys sure this isn't just your pc specs? there's one thing in common between your posts and that it's using lots of mods at the same time and then removing them all
Somehow this mod makes my game run smoother and fixes another issue with decals I had: My computer isn't powerful enough to display them without looking like a blurry mess or giving me 10 FPS. Not only does this mod stop the annoying flickering that occurs, it somehow increases the visual fidelity of decals without my messing with graphics/video settings.
In the video you posted showcasing this mod we are shown graffiti. On my PC I would not be able to read what the graffiti says before installing this mod: It looks like a blob with vague linework. With this mod installed the graffiti isn't as crisp/high-rez like yours, but it's as if my V put on a pair of prescription eyeglasses for the first time and I can actually read what it says.

Question to Modder (@sosuine) is this MOD still relevant with 2.21 and 2.3 in 2025?

I would prefer to not use it if possible.
** Edit **
The script itself is actually fairly simple, it's easy to remove all Mod Settings stuff from it manually
