Thanks so much for this. I loved how weapons could have a random effect before 2.0 and was sad they straight up removed that for crafted weapons and only gave us Pyro to make up for it.

Pyro and Electro mod for smart weapons will kill Yinglong and Prototype's monopoly in smart guns/netrunner build, and that make me happy. Thank for the mod. Ps: Does double Electro stack? Coupled them with Paraline deck sound tasty :D
You can stack two pyros on a weapon. I'm pretty sure you can actually stack all the damages if they are in seperate mods. Good example is when I put two pyros on a weapon, then get the stack for both and light it all on fire.
EDIT- After an hour of testing, yes! Both will Proc and DOT on a single enemy or group of them.
It also seems to work with the Raven and a few modded decks I have that spread DOT Procs.
You can get a pool of fire and electro or chem effects that really do Proc into a crowd. From the last ten minutes of testing it on Barghest and Militech it was taking down some Skulls with a bit of lethal insanity. I can tell I'm going back to my Raven, for a few days in game.
If you see my health in the screens you can tell I'm playing on a Damage Table Modified setup. Some of the skulls can have 150,000 health on a damage setting I am testing.
The mods are really working on the higher damage enemies, but I'm getting some freaky damage from them. Can that have the new mods on a weapon? I keep getting poison killed and they have it slotted already.
If I just scan the weapon on the body it shows the mods are slotted. When I take the weapons the mods are then put into my inventory. They for sure have had the poison on a few weapons, and I think Electro on a Katana. Not slotted when I recover the weapon, but for sure some asshole had it on an HMG just now.
Might be the mods I'm using. I have the Mods Unlocked, Gimme Two Slots and a bunch of stuff that changes mod abilities.
It's vanilla game mechanic IMO, enemies weapon some time have random mod that selected from all availabe mods, and because Electro and Chemico are generic mod, the chance is higher than other non generic mod.
BTW- I was being very sarcastic about the damage mod. I just had to turn God Mode on for a second. I have a damage mod that does increase all the stats for damages and health, but not that much. I figured out that about 4-5 of the Scavs at the Police Huscle Amusement Park job were all rocking the mods. I also have a mod that adds extra enemies to each encounter spawn. I had about 5 or 6 extra scavs in that small area. It will kill you really freaking quick no matter what level or health bar you have. I have a lot higher stats and damages in my current setup, so it just destroyed my ass. I have a feeling that was why my last Barghest encounter was so deadly.
I'm just playing around with a few damage tables doing mod testing for someone. I just had a simple one I made, but it was pretty flawed. I had no real issues with the game for the most part. Just playing around with it on my latest attempt to 100% the game. I just got the APB Is Not Enough achievement from messing with Barghest so much. Barghest seems to be the best high level enemy pool to test it on.
Maelstrom has been getting a fair test of the Electo Combo effects on multiple targets.
The Combo DOT Procs are freaking insane when you use a Raven build and Pyro/Chem the Shingen or Yinglong. Yes, there are Rainbows possible now. I got a three way DOT stack with extra bleeding DOT on MaxTac a few times before I died.
Yes! You can stack two different damages and both will proc and do stacked DOT. Or at least hit them with both types of damage during successive and multiple shots.
Yeah, I noticed that, 0.03 is already very low but obviously it pops more often than that. The technique I used to make the mods lootable is a bit hacky, let me know if you find a more balanced setting...
I just realized that with a slot unlocker mod for iconics, there are some weapons that could hit with all three elements. Psalm 11:6, Divided We Stand, Errata, all of them can become "chromatic" with this mod. Ooh, I've got some ideas now!
There is an iconic pistol called Chaos which cycles through the elements on every reload, technically making it chromatic. I'd recommend looking into that gun to figure out the secrets of a truly chromatic weapon mod.

Works well with Wall Piercer Power Weapon Mod, Unlock Me A Slot 2.1 and Unlock Me The Mods 2.1.
Been looking for a mod like this, having the Electro & Wall Piercer on the Problem Solver SMG is much fun!

Edit: I am gonna change all the drop chances to 0.01 instead of 0.03 and see what happens.
