Hey, just to say that there's something funky with the version of Realcolorr 4 that's in the LUT switcher pack here, it looks kind of washed out or bleached out, like it's a stray GITS or Nova LUT of some kind.
I've been testing things out again, and I can confirm that the new Realcolorr 4 looks great with just vanilla lighting (as 3 did, indeed) and looks fantastic with Luum 2. But when I tried (in MO2) setting Realcolorr 3 as the "hard" mod choice (so I could switch 4 in and out with the LUT switcher), I noticed that the version of Realcolorr 4 in the LUT pack here looks weirdly bleached out.
(Note, out of interest, I also discovered a curiously hyper-realistic (yet still fairly vibrant) combination with Luum 2, the Nova 1 Supernova Classic LUT (in the official LUT switcher pack), and the White Balance Supernova reshade, but my system's an ancient potato so having a reshade just kills the fps a bit too much for my comfort. Using just the Nova 2 Supernova LUT from the switcher pack and no reshade has a somewhat similar hyper-realistic effect without the reshade burden.)
nullsiv lut are usually using gamma around 1.15 or above, I'm using 1.20 with realcolor IV and it looks similar to your white balance supernova reshade with nova 1 supernova classic without the fps cost
Yeah I used to have gamma at 1.15 for Realcolorr III.
Apart from some neon red lipstick, which is a bit weird, Realcolorr IV looks fine at 1.15 gamma if I just activate it "properly" (as a LUT on launch), it just seems to be washed out when activated from the LUT switcher.
Is there a standalone version of this? Couldn't figure out for the life of me how to use the LUT Switcher, so now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to use this without that other mod.
I passed your work over before despite reading great comments about some of your older LUTs. When this came out I also passed it over because of the "experimental". Decided to try it though when I saw the link for the LUT pack in theCyanideX's new LUT switcher mod. I just had to say that these are INCREDIBLE! Especially Realcolorr IV and Filmic 50D. Considering they're actually WIP makes it even more amazing. So pissed at not trying your LUTs before lol. Anybody that doesn't at least try these is missing out (like me previously). Thanks and I look forward to seeing how these progress as your work continues on them.
Thanks! These have been in the oven for a while (basically since October 2023) and everything is finally reaching maturity. I'm really glad you like them; and I'm glad to have you here.
