Does it still work on the latest version of the game? Also I would like to know if it is compatible with DARK FUTURE? I tried to use both mods together and was unsuccessful. Thanks
So does this mod also extend the visual effects for 15 min per drink? And if so yay, I wanna be drunk for a long time not just a few mins. Like if I have 5 drinks I wanna see the blurry vision for at least a real life like 30 mins. Maybe have a way to extend the duration of the visual effects personally and +1 for dark future. U modders are the best
Works on 2.2 if anyone was still wondering. Is there something I can remove or edit in the modular version to re-enable dash/dodge? I think I saw how to change the duration at least but I don't know what all the buffs and debuffs do specifically.
@Syynx: Another mad idea just came to mind...is it possible to increase the number of drinks the status bar counts beyond 4? And mess with the drunk visual to make it distort vision even worse? I like the longer duration, but an even stronger drunk visual with 5th and 6th drink would honestly make my day. There any easy, newb-friendly way to accomplish that, or would I have to get deeper into wolvenkit (and possibly graphics programs) to make that a reality?
Just had a brainfart...ran back to my apartment for the ump-teenth time today to grab an hour of sleep for the XP bonus. Getting kinda tired of it. Sooo, thought of the alcohol as an easy -and admittedly little cheaty- way to extend XP bonus from sleeping at home. Is it possible - generally speaking? Would have come in really handy at the end of Lucretia my Reflection. Raced through that mission in record time, still took longer than an hour cuz of all the dialogues.
So I looked at tweakDB records, there's a
HousingStatusEffect.Rested
I believe that is the one. Can I add that to the effects in the config file, if so, how exactly would that line have to read?
Is there a way for the effect to influence damage done by cars as well, like in that one skill in the tech skill tree? As of now, drunk driving in the game is pretty disappointing. Hope you can bring justice to our favorite pastime!
Cool mod idea that makes alcohol more than something to just sell or an immersion item, easy to modify the mod yourself if you don't want specific effects if you know what you're doing too.
Oh yeah! Alcohol finally has some meaning. The survival system gave meaning to food and drinks, but there was still absolutely no meaning to drinking alcohol. Thank you!
Compatible with survival system's flat debuffs! Finally I have an excuse to idly drink drugs. The weaker version seems about right for bespoke poison packed with designer chems.
With how few of the downsides affect melee I find myself getting drunk and taking down groups with a dildo, which seems so f*#@ing fitting for Cyberpunk lol
I hope you're enjoying the mod <3 Hoping this is a thorn removed for people who were confused as to why alcohol even existed in the first place
speaking of idle anywhere mod, making a buff/debuff for smoking would be cool too. God I wish this game some expanded stim/drugs game mechanics like Fallout 4.
@Dogemods666: I second that. A mod similar to BLTC/CAM for FO4 is sorely missing. There's SynthDose of course, but that's just injectors and inhalers. I'd really like to see some snorts or syringes and especially smokes (blunts, joints, what have you, something else than ciggis with rot-black filters). And if at all possible, with anims too. That would be the icing on the cake^^.

Remember to hydrate.

This mod is a bit simple, but hopefully it's a good enough solution to those who feel the same way I did

The Addicted mod is pretty cool idea-wise. I was hoping they would add it on that.
