Troubleshooting issues Game is stuttering and freezing This means the default strategy frequency setting that the mod chose for you is not great for your PC ( Read the mod description )
To fix: go to Mod Settings, and dial down the Strategy Frequency Slider all the way down to 0%. Duplicates are still swapped at 0%. But done so in less GPU intensive way.
Then you can slowly increase and test what suits best for your PC. It is possible that your PC may not be able to run Unique Appearance Creation even at 5% or 10%. In which case, there is no other choice than to rely on Existing Appearance only. (You can maybe try reducing crowd density). The duplicate swaps are still performed regardless.
Known issues
When using "Unique Apperance Creation": sometimes created NPC appearances have missing body/hands. Or have two sets of skin colors -- This will be fixed in a future release
How to report issues
If you see issues or a lot of duplicate NPCs even after installing, please use the "Debug Overlay" in Mod Settings and take a screenshot of the duplicate NPC/in-game with the debug overlay visible. Also please share which version you're on.
Ensure the debug overlay is visible when posting a bug report.
Although I'd presume your mod would make Crowd E3 2018 Restored sort of redundant...
I used that mod for a while but still got duplicates. Removed it when I installed this one and have very very few duplicates now. So I'd say Crowd E3 2018 Restored is redundant.
CTD on save load. Bisected and found that the crash happens when NoMoreDuplicateNPC (1.4) and NPC LoD Tweak (for PT) were loaded together. Issue did not recur when loaded separately. Validated over 20 times.
Issue started mid game. Does not happen on fresh game file.
What data can I provide to help fix compatibility?
I just had to uninstall this mod. It seemed to be working fine with the crowds out on the street, but it was making all the NPCs disappear from places like Afterlife and Coach Fred's boxing gym in Megabuilding H10 (Afterlife was completely empty apart from the bartenders, Rogue and a few others, and the boxing gym had no one lifting weights etc.). As soon as I uninstalled the mod both these areas were correctly populated again. Any ideas what might be up with that? Seems like a cool mod, would love to get it to work. Thanks.
Hi there, very strange issue seems to be popping up here... using this mod a lot of NPCs now have eyebrows with the text "DO NOT USE IN GAME" on them..
See it happening here:
Seems to be caused when this mod is used in combo with High Res NPC Faces mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/7089) Neither outright causes it, but both together does..
EDIT - Actually I'm lying! Used a NPC spawn density modifier (https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/16304), and 100% replacement method slider, and have also observed this happening too.
Did you figure out the source of this issue? I've noticed the same thing in my setup. I suspected it was this mod as it seemed to mix NPC heads with different bodies. But it would be good to know for sure.
Was wondering if it would add more appearance to the base game's NPCs lists instead of just pulling from what's there or generating on the fly, I wonder if that's possible.
The only issues I see are street performers are silent. Guitar performers and drum performers animations work but no sound. Also noticed that there aren't a lot of random conversations in crowds. I would assume it's because of NPC's being swapped. Small sacrifice.
I see none of that and the mod does not remove those as those are not tied to NPC appearances per se and instead other world nodes, again must be a conflict

Also seeing these eyebrows. Suspect this mod.
I'm super sensitive to stuttering (I need perfect smoothness at all times + max graphics, sucks to be me), so I'd notice. I have 177 mods installed.
I recommend the av traffic mod that released recently cause it adds more flying avs
-I get this every time I start the game but works without you're mod and no pop up.
