The "Manual Transmission " mod does not work if the "NIGHT CITY ALIVE (REDmod) " mod is installed, at least that's what happened to me now, I installed Manual Transmission a long time ago, when I installed NIGHT CITY ALIVE (REDmod), simply Manual Transmission stopped working, I removed NIGHT CITY ALIVE (REDmod), and that's it, everything went back to normal.
I was wondering if I could get some help. A couple of months ago, I used this mod along with Go Like Hell—A Proper Driving Overhaul—and had no issues, but after installing this mod, I can't use it. It shows up properly, but I can't manually shift gears no matter what keys I bind. I really like using this mod as it made driving with KB&M so much more controlled, but I'm unable to use it properly and unsure how to fix it.
Other vehicle mods such as Vehicle Manufacturer's Resource and Parking Spots Enhanced but I can't think those would be an issue.
Same here, reverted to 1.1.3 as it seems to work properly. Could other mods like auto drive or custom car modders ressources conflict with it ? (Love the mod btw keep up the work <3)
Hey, do you have any error logs? You can find them at Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\ManualTransmission\ManualTransmission.log
I'll try looking into this in the coming days and see what's going on.
The error essentially means that the mod couldn't find the gear data for the vehicle, which is very bizarre. I was unable to recreate this error (I've tried several times on 2 different PCs already), so I'll need as much information as possible.
Do you still have this issue with a clean mod list (CET, RED4ext, Codeware, Native Settings UI, Manual Transmission)?
If you still have this issue with a clean mod list, then let me know: 1. what vehicle you're using 2. steps to recreate (e.g., load up the save, enter the vehicle and get error)
If a clean mod list solves your issue, then let me know: 1. what mod breaks Manual Transmission. You can find out by disabling all mods except for what is required by Manual Transmission, and re-enabling them one-by-one (this will probably take a lot of effort so just re-enable what you think might be breaking things first)
Great mod, however when I tried it out with Cyber Vehicle Overhaul, I noticed that the vehicles now retain their vanilla gear ratios and top speeds. SO that's a bummer for me, I would tweak it if I knew what I was doing but that's not the case unfortunately lol
Has anyone managed to adjust the gearbox to match the speed of the original game? For me, it feels too short, and as they say, it gives the impression that it's missing gears. It seems the developer has no plans to update the mod for now; let's hope they do this year.
I'll be looking into updating this mod in the coming days/weeks. I'm not happy with where it's at and I don't feel comfortable leaving it the way it is given that I barely mod these days. Sorry for the long wait!

Do you maybe have any error logs you could provide? Or perhaps another mod is causing the issue?

I think it may be related to another vehicle mod maybe.. Some ressources mods like this one maybe.
I'll let you know if I find something.
