I've tried for a couple days now to get this not to cause shoulder seams on my Male V, so I'm caving and posting for help cause I'm clearly doing something wrong. I've downloaded pretty much all of your cyberware mods, which I really love by the way and that's why I'm trying so hard to get them to work, but most of them cause seams in the shoulders and legs which is, I understand, from not having the right compatibility file for your body mod. But I don't have an actual body mod except for the switchfeet for KSUV from the compendium. So I didn't download the KSUV compat file at first. But it caused seams, so I went back to download those compat files, but the seams are still there. I have all requirements and they're all up to date.
It's also worth noting that I use the V4 Prelim version of KSUV and I use MO2 as a mod manager, with the Cyberpunk plugin installed to ensure all mods work properly. I've verified that the installation is all correct. Any help's appreciated! <3
You've got something weird going on with garment support. You say you're using a KSUV body, which doesn't have garment support, and my meshes for KSUV bodies don't have garment support either, so this sort of thing shouldn't happen. My standard advice is to remove all other clothing and decorations (facial piercings, cyberware, etc) and get to a clean start, where you should not see this. Then add the other stuff back in and see what triggers it. One thing we do know is that facial piercings can trigger weird GS behaviour and you should switch to using PRC instead, which doesn't have that problem.
I actually didn't know that KSUV isn't compatible with garment support, I've been using clothes with garment support with no issues, except these cyberware mods obviously. The 'body' mod I'm using is just the vanilla body with switchfeet for custom shoes. I wasn't sure if it's really considered a body mod since it's vanilla based. I also don't use facial piercings for my V, but it's good to know about that PRC mod to use instead, cause I think I'll put some on my female V. I'll try disabling things and see what works, I just wasn't sure if I installed things correctly or not so I wanted to make sure. Maybe disabling the KSUV Body Compendium body will work. I can live with using vanilla shoes. Otherwise, my V is rarely naked so the seams won't be too jarring. Just didn't know if the seams meant that other problems would show up if I keep using the cyberware. Thanks for the help! <3
Cheers. For what it's worth, Barghest arms are just fundamentally huge - you could use garment support to make them shrink under clothes but then would they really be Barghest arms anymore? You'd really need clothing refits to maintain the sense of their bulk.
when using the arm or hand slots i get these large shoulder seams, and i believe i saw a knee seam when unequipping the calf replacement slot. not sure what happened but this all occurred after i tried (and failed) to get a plastic skin texture mod working iirc. any help would be appreciated
You are probably using a different body mod at this point compared to what optional body file you installed for each of my mods. So now the parts are wrong and you see seams. Go back and reinstall the right files.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here but when I install this, I consistently crash when attempting to load a save. Without this installed, I seem to be able to load in just fine. I have the latest versions of the requirements for this installed as well after double checking.
That's most consistent with having a duplicate atelier installed. Each of the files in the mod zip can be installed one by one so do that and see which ones lead to the crash.
Hi hiiiii, i have to say, i love all your cyberware mods, had almost (i believe) all instaled, i have one doubt, the mantis and launcher arms have the elbow texture and it does not dissapear with valentino arms, is there a specific place where i must place it on equipment EX to not show the elbow texture?
These are mutually exclusive choices (hence why they share the same slot). If you force the Valentino arm and the launcher/mantis arm to appear at the same time, this is what you will see. So either you accept this is the appearance or don’t do that.
OH right! i see it, so it´s not like a "skin" like the arm materials mod, like gold or carbon fiber....ok ok i get it!, well it opens to other options to make more custom looks, welp thankies i really apreciate you answer it makes me knew i didn´t missmatched or missed something, It can be sick if there was no elbow, or just the ciberware separated, like the gorilla arms knuckles hehehe, but i gues its too much layers applied on it hehehe, well i still love the looks of all! as i said love so much your work, Muchas gracias KiasuBurger!!!
Yeah. Due to the valentino arm having a different shape, the cyberlines from the other cyberarm mods would need to be custom refitted for it. That's not impossible, but it's a bunch of extra work.
If installing this mod makes the game crash, it's either because you are missing requirements or you have a very very old version of my valentino knees mod installed that has its own store included. Two of the same store makes the game crash.
Installed almost all your cyberware AXL mods, I am very appreciate for your work. Just curious if this approach could retire anything using More Head/Body Meshes? Are you going to make more cyberware/comestics from vanilla or other modder's work(with permission I suppose)?
Techincally yes. Anything that is done with MBM could be redone as AXL items, and some of my mods do overlap with older MBM mods. There's a trade-off that the items don't appear in scenes where the player character is wearing a fixed outfit or no clothes, and that bothers some people.
But ultimately it comes down to where the meshes come from. If an MBM mod is custom work (eg: Anrrui's Lucy Cyberware) then it's not up to me. Or something like Arasaka Arms where the base arm is from the game but the author did a lot of work on top of that.
I've got a list of things I want to do, but it's certainly not driven by trying to replace MBM mods (although I got into modding because MBM wasn't working...)

Some mods that I'm using that might help (Just appearance/body related cause I have a big mod list): KSUV Body Compendium, Universal Skintones, Tsarev's KS Male Textures, Morph Texture Removal; frameworks to have more overlays on my V, Morph Target and AnimRig, Bitesized, More Body Meshes, More Head Meshes
