this tool could've been enough to get me to mod again maybe. if i had the desire and energy too. does it get the audio from say a vending machine too? there was this one machine in the game that made noise that always bothered me. Not even the moders out there could stop it. always wanted to remove the curse words from the game too for people who wanted such a mod.
While using this mod I encountered an error, where upon editing Oda during the boss fight would cause all NPC's within the camera's FOV to freeze, including those after the boss fight.
This problem would spread to other save files causing NPC's to not move in those files as well
Disabling this mod fixed the problem, do you think I did something wrong during the installation or is this a bug?
Feature request if you think it's cool: Drive from the back seat of a car. I always thought being able to control a vehicle from not the driver's seat would make a lot of sense in Cyberpunk, could even be done with the control quickhack? Niche request I know but would be awesome!
EDIT: The control feature in this mod kinda does this I guess, but would it be possible to actually seat V while controlling the vehicle? Also, would it be possible to enable the minimap/objectives while controlling a vehicle?
Seconded - I am using Auto Drive, the main file and passenger optional file. There are many times where I want to sit in the back seat and have the car autodrive me, but it needs a little help sometimes. Sadly there's no functionality to switch from back seat to front in order to take control of the car. It would be neato if we could remote control our own car, from the back seat, using this mod-- specifically for these aforementioned moments.
Downloaded the mod for the main purpose, but am enthralled by the 'quickhacks.' Thanks much!
There's some obstacles in this game that I want to remove (replace their mesh with a void) since I find them to be vestigial and a waste of PC resources. Would that be APITA to add as an addition? It would be an invaluable time-saver if it were to be done.
For now (in the early stages of the mod), I just want to keep the focus on NPCs and vehicles (and not really planning on adding anything to remove them entirely, but I possibly could)...
Maybe sometime eventually I'll go into world objects, too...
I believe you're referring to removing objects and their collision, correct? You may be able to do that with this tool, FYI. I was messing around with it while working on my stripped-out apartment mods and while it has downsides compared to the ol' "removal by hand" method (the formatting 😨), I have read it can remove the collision nodes RedHotTools misses. I still need to try it out on my gutted-out Glen mod I've left abandoned on my PC for the past couple of months cause good lawd the collision on that one is bad.
I read the comment below you saying you may add world object control later. Can I expect building door control when it comes out? I'm saying this because sometimes certain doors (ex. Double door next to Mateo's bar in Lizzie's, booth 11 screen door in Cloud, 2nd Amendment double door in Kabuki market place) gets jammed and won't function - stays open/closed forever; which they shouldn't be. I was trying to find a mod that fixes these doors but couldn't find one. I mean, my problem is not a game breaking so I can live without a fix but for immersion sake, I hoped for a fix, and I think this mod and your work is the closest possibility.
Yeah, if I ever do actually get around to adding support for world objects, opening/closing doors will definitely be a function... Can't promise it's going to happen, though...
You can open/close doors now in v1.6 (as well as control a lot of other devices)
Edit: I'll add a keybind to open/close them in the next update... Didn't think about it for this one, but probably should've... I need to make a "Buttons" overlay window for devices, too, so it'll come with that (likely sometime tomorrow or the next day)...
Edit 2: Sorry, it'll be in the next update after the one I just posted (v1.7)... Just had to fix a minor issue real quick...
Thank you! I didn't know you would add the feature this fast! I will try it out right away. Thanks again for all your work. You just made my day a little better :D
Edit: WORKS! Booth 11 screen door I mentioned on my previous comment can be closed/opened using this mod. It is a bit tricky to actually "Mark" the screen door to use the function of this mod but it can be done :)
Edit 2: OK, it also opens up pathways like you should be using Body stat to force open doors/walls or remove objects. It can be reverted to it's original state but only when you still have that "Mark" on the object before moving or turn your head to other direction. And it seems you can't close/move the object that is already opened/cleared with "Force Open/Remove Object" way, which makes sense; you shouldn't be able to make things look okay when the door is basically WRECKED by a cyborg.

Or perhaps even every turret/camera in the area?

Thank you for making this mod

Hopefully that helps!

Edit 3: And that's done and updated :)
