OK... Since the author of this mod seems to be inactive and does not respond to any of the comments, I'll try to share a link with my standalone mod for only hair here:
Anyway, all the work belongs to the author of this mod, and — big thanks for this mod! I just fixed the hair. Both mods works simultaneously. In this original mod just don't add the hair code. Add it from my mod.
Well... I fixed a hair and made a small standalone mod with it for personal use. Works OK, like it should work (and not overlaps with current hairstyle). But I can't share it without author's permission...
Without sharing your mod directly, can you describe what you did to fix the hair? I have the hair elements of the mod isolated in Wolvenkit, and want to attempt the fix as well. Thank you for any guidance or insight!
Hi. I took project for my Trinity outfit mod with the working equipable hair, left just hair folder and hair info in yaml & xl files, make a new project, called an item "yen_hair", added mesh file and all textures from this mod, and change everywhere "trinity" to "yen" (in all files, in yaml and in xl too, except mesh file, the mesh from this mod left unchanged). Then packed, installed, and here we go. You (and everyone) can take my files from the Trinity mod as a base, too, If you wish.
Just tried to edit just yaml from this mod (so everyone can do it in theory), but the hair still invisible. Maybe some info/tags or I don't know, should be fixed in mod files as well. I think the hair stopped to work after core mode updates, can't see any other reason.
Excellent and thank you! I will try using your mod as a template with the Yen hair mesh added in as you describe. And BTW the Trinity outfit mod is awesome :D
Hey success! It took a lot of experimentation and tweaking, but I finally got the hair mesh working in my own custom mod... I ended up having to remap all the color definition arrays in the .mesh file and had to figure out how the .xbm texture file mapping works, but everything works as it should now. Thank you again for your guidance!
I don't get it! What do all these Swap for V mods do? Do they just replace the head or is it a wearable head? Or will a new head preset be added to the character editor? Then where is the cheat code for the head? Here it is only for clothes everywhere

Other outfit works fine (game v2.2).

Other mods with same type of hairs (that you made) works
