Amazing idea and they look gorgeous. But is there any way to make those wallpapers only appear in apartments V owns/are purchasable? Seeing the same wallpaper over and over again, no mater what PC, public or private, you use in the game really breaks the immersion factor. The only reason I would not use it tbh. Hopefully there is a way to make those wallpapers unique to the computers V owns? Although I would not know how since this mod is more or less a replacer for the standard PC idle wallpaper in CP2077. :/
Would it be perhaps possible to script in a random change? That would definitely make it feel more realistic, as different computers would have different wallpapers and people would also change theirs.
So, multiple image files that the mod pulls from at random?
Might be a tall order, but just wanted to throw it out there because if someone pulled it off that would by far be the best wallpaper mod, as it would be the only one that doesn't result in nearly every computer in the game using the same wallpaper! :)
I don't have any script or programming experience. The only scripting experience i have was utilizing an existing script and manipulating it to change a feature already in game. I would have no idea where to start, i can ask my friends but I'm not gonna guarantee anything, sorry.
The way the wallpapers work is that theres an inkatlas composed of 6 images collaged together. All of the images are different wallpapers for the various computers you find around the map. Theres the generic one which i manipulated, the one the character sees most often, and theres some other, quest related ones like militech's cynosure background, konpeki plaza terminals. The collage Chooses which image to place where so i replaced the portion that covers the generic ones. I could look into manipulating the atlas but that goes further into the inkwidget utilization and there is next to no resources for doing so on the wiki and ive yet to see anyone be able to do this properly. but Ill ask.
I will work on figuring this out but in all honesty? I have NO clue where this top comes from. I literally just happened to notice it in my equipment ex library the other day. I think(?) it might be one of the outfit refits by nola, ill try and figure it out
yep, one of nola & meluminary's packs. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/8494 i suggest checking out all 3 of them! essential for my playthroughs <3
Yep! i posted a link at the bottom of the post but I'm sure its easy to miss. The official cyberpunk website https://www.cyberpunk.net/us/en/cyberpunk-2077#media i got them from the basegame wallpapers and concept art and the phantom liberty wallpapers and concept art.
