Hi! Im new into modding, i love the mod but it made the vehicles' top speed way too high for me. Is there anyway for me to keep all aspect of the mod but change the top speed as in vanilla?
it works!I have tweaked it even more to see its effects clearly. You can tweak the yaml. file to your likings with notepad++.its not difficult and self explaining if you see it.
Yes choom, they modify different files. - This one adds a .yml file under r6\tweaks which changes how the road/dirt/asphalt behaves with the tires (grip/traction - just like the mod's name suggests)
- Cyberdrive, the one you already hotlinked, adds a .ini configuration file in the engine\config\platform\pc which changes physics forces like centrifuge; air control; inertia and so on
- Also theoretically compatible with "cyber vehicle overhaul", which adds INDIVIDUAL .lua files for vehicles under bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods (changing acceleration, top speed, etc)
Just for your reference - I'm playing a lot of Forza and other racing games and I came up with something many will consider crazy but I find it closest to the arcady Forza experience with everything at flat values:
I mean - literally everything except of motorcycles. This way you're able to completely control a drift inertia both in tight corners and wide angles with a handbrake. All the cars behave the same - yeah - but it gives most fun to me. Maybe you could upload it like that as a "handbrake drift control version" or something along those lines. Also - check it out yourself - all at those values except of motorcycles. It is really fun!
That question is a bit contradictory, since GTAV's handling is about as arcady as it comes. Cars stop on a dime, have excessively tight turning radii, have zero body roll, only lose traction at slow speeds and extreme angles, and can have a head-on collision at 100mph and only suffer a loose bumper. GTAIV's suspension may have been a tad exaggerated at times, but god, at least it was fun to drive.
I've been playing since release and I always avoided cars because how slippery they were. I even ignored Claire's questline because of it. Dude this it. Great mod and settings. I can not thank you enough. I can finally enjoy driving.

plus not sure if this is required any more to be used, does it help ?
EDIT: It's one or the other, y'all. They modify the same exact thing :)

Hope this helped.
