Attention! My mod is only a partial solution to the problem with the radio. Patch 2.1 (at least for me) fixed the radio issue in older saves that didn't use my mod, and in saves where you did use my mod you might see the radio bug again. There are only two ways to fix it: either continue to play with my mod, or load an old save where my mod was not used. In any case, my mod does not break the saves, which were already broken before or after the PL patch, but at the same time some data remains in them that interferes with the full control of the radio without my mod
I've got all main mods installed for this mod to work and it's working fine for me. Need some feedback whether you have problem with it, so I will add more requirements
1. Try to install it manually, without tools / managers 2. Make sure 2 files (archive and xl) are in Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod\ 3. Make sure you are not using mods for V's Apartment / Judy's Apartment. But personally I have mod for interactive TV's in Judy's Apartment and my mod is working fine with it 4. If you got the latest version of ArchiveXL and there is a conflict only with archive file you will at least have both radios removed from apartments. 5. Also check if you have modlist.txt file and radiofix.archive is there in that list (if you don't have such file that's also ok, even better, cause it should load it anyway) 6. Check ArchiveXL log file (Cyberpunk 2077\red4ext\plugins\ArchiveXL\) after loading save (my is in V's Apartment)
Anyone have issues with this mod and the Growl FM party radio not working? When I show up on my current playthrough, it is playing Vexelstrom and the 'listen to songs' buttons do nothing. Previous save files are fine.
I first played cyberpunk on 2.13 radio works fine, after update 2.2,my game begin crushing cuz core mods dont updated yet. After i roll back to 2.13 radio become broken and this mod helped.Very strange behavior that bug.
Would it be possible to add a way to control the apartment radio's volume? I've tried turning all my music levels down low but the apartment one is always blaring loud.
So people said before that the radio is fine pre heist, but broken again post heist. I think the post heist fix was just posted by deceptious here.
I haven't tried it yet, just noticed it now and read the description and it sounded like the potential cause to what was causing the rift for different save points. Also, while I had this installed in the early game, pre heist, I noticed that it produced the effect of overlapping radios, like two were active on top of each other. This could lead to different sounds, different interactable radio UI's sort of flickering over each other, as well as making it awkward during certain combat sequences when trying to hack a radio to distract an enemy, as it seemed for me to hack the "second" radio, effectively turning it on so the music plays, but not actually stopping or starting the real radio which is what enemies seemed to be programmed to look for.
I see below someone also just mentioned this issue. So perhaps deceptious' mod is the new fix? I'd have to test it to know for sure.
Fix is relevant again for version 2.11. My radio in H10 was broken during "Playing for Time", after moment when V woke up sitting on the floor in a shower. Dunno about Judy's radio, haven't checked it yet.
Yep, same in Act 1 it worked fine. Right at start of Act 2 I have no controls. I have not used this mod, discovered now looking for a "fix". Not sure if I should use it or not?
Same here. I actually created a whole new save with this mod uninstalled just to find that the radio was still broken once I reached act two. @chase81, what specifically does your mod change? Trying to figure out what CDPR keeps f*#@ing up to cause this issue in the first place.
Anything to be concerned about? In the ArchiveXL log: Because of 2.1.1 ?

If you see again radios with no controls over them, then mod didn't installed correctly / didn't start / have unknown conflicts with other mods
