any chance we can have this exact same thing but with kala's face doll lines merged as one? im asking because the rest are using skin complexions and yours doesnt , i wanted to mix the two with a skin complexion but the one overwrites the other
Feel silly but I still can't get it to work. Removed mods, added mods, reread - what did I miss?
The mods remaining are mostly essential for othermods (apperance unlocker) Here's all the body mods I'm using - I also have Kerry Neckpiece but from the screenshots it doesn't conflict.
NOTE: Solo Arms UV AOI.archive, Solo_Body_UV_HF.archive, zz_johnson_Framework_Unique_V_Body_Shape.archive and body shapes associated with it conflict with the KALA Mandala Tattoo archive.
You can't install both head mods at the same time. And you put the regular head replacement with the Mandala variant of the mod.
You also can't use UV with this tattoo. This is for VTK, a completely different and conflicting set of body skins and body mods (it's in the requirements, you can't miss it) You have to remove anything related to UV and install VTK if you want to use these tattoos.
Also, if you want to use this head/face tattoo with the Blackout 2.0 tattoos, you have to remove Blackout Cyber Jaw (VTK).archive, and download the Optional file below it called "Version that fits Kala's Blackout 2.0 tattoos" and then use one of the files inside to replace/overwrite 00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0_Head.archive OR 00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0Mandala_Head.archive.
But you can't use the regular Blackout 2.0 head with the Blackout 2.0 Mandala tattoo, or vice versa. They must match. If you're using the regular Blackout 2.0 tattoo, replace it with the regular head. If you're using the Mandala variant, replace it with the Mandala head.
All of the instructions and links to VTK are in the description. Ya gotta read it to know what to do.
For your specific issue:
Remove all UV mods. Remove 00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0_Head.archive Remove Blackout Cyber Jaw (VTK).archive Install VTK. If you're using a cyberarms mod (like Arasaka Cyberarms) install all of the VTK body parts (Body, Cyberarms and Head) but don't install the "Vanilla Body HD - Arms" mod. You won't need it if you're using cyberarms. You'll also need Cyberarms Patch. ADD 00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0Mandala_Head.archive (from my optional file).
Ok done, followed all the suggestions - for some reason the vanilla arms work and not the cyberarms but its good for other ppl trying to do what I did. Mandala tattoo appears in full but still no blackjaw head. If I sort out (I know I'm doing something wrong) will post again - and thank you for your reply, with my ADHD I gotta read things a few times to get it (It took me months to get Kerry Cyberneck to work, not kidding).
The head will show up if you replace the head that comes with the VTK Tattoo with the head from my Optional files. It's as simple as that. Install VTK Blackout 2.0 Mandala Tattoo. And then once it's installed, go into your \Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod\ folder and replace 00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0Mandala_Head.archive with the one from my mod. It will go from something like 22KB to 32KB in size.
The best way to do this is to bring up 2 x Windows Explorer by pressing (Hold "Windows Key" + Press "E"). Do this twice to open it twice. Now, select one of the Windows Explorer windows and then hold Windows Key and press the LEFT arrow on your keyboard. This will situate that window to the left. Then, select the other explorer window and do the same, but with the RIGHT arrow key to send that one to the right.
Now, on the right, navigate to the Cyberpunk mod folder (\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod\) and on the left, navigate to where your mod downloads are. I organize my mod downloads into named folders. This will give you a good space from which to work where you can see everything at once, and you aren't struggling trying to make sure you're doing the right steps.
Your work space should look something like the following. Go to my optional mod zip with the two separate head files in it, and if you're using the Mandala tattoo, extract the Mandala head (00_00VTK_Tattoo_KALA_Blackout2.0Mandala_Head.archive) on the left side of the screen. Now, on the right side of the screen, delete the Mandala head of the same name, and then copy > paste the head from my zip file over to the mod folder.
Try installing it and see what it does. Can't hurt anything. If it doesn't work, you may need the Gymfiend body mod (it's currently the only VTK mod for the MascV body), but then you'd have to install refits for all of the clothing options. Not a big deal, probably take you about 20 mins to get everything working.
If you go to the Description page for Gymfiend, click "Requirements" and that will show all of the mods that require Gymfiend to function, which would be all of the clothing, tattoo and skin mods you're looking for to go with that body type.
If the jaw tattoo doesn't fit your MascV, I'll make a version that does. Might take a little while because I want to play through Phantom Liberty and haven't had a chance to yet.
Hey, so the Atlas body mod is NOT VTK. In fact, AllKnowingLion is the co-author of UV Texture Framework, a completely different body mod/texture type of mod. If you want to use VTK tattoos (and not UV), you'll have to use Gymfiend. Also, Atlas doesn't mod the neck or head, so I wouldn't be able to add this to that body type anyway.
From the Atlas Description page:
Textures that rely on the VTK format will be incompatible with this body.
As I am the co-creator of the UV Texture Framework, it only makes sense that it is the supported format for unique player textures for my body mods.
I don't want to bother you but can't you just add the jaw tattoo to vanilla head and neck with the UV texture framework? Since the atlas body doesn't edit the head or neck. Tho if its too much work then don't bother with it
Would you consider combining this jaw tattoo with the one in the link to make another really nice face tattoo? Alternate Blackwork Tattoos at Cyberpunk 2077 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com). I know that the one in the link is a simple replacer for the regular 08 face tattoo, but I would really love to be able to play with both yours and this one, because if I use them simultaniously, they overlay and create a different shade of black that is out of place. Love your work btw and hope for more to come soon!
Exactly! Already tried both of them together as I said and especially the face part of the other tattoo adds those edges around the face area that look really good imo.
The issue with this is that that tattoo is not VTK, so it's a completely different kind of method and layout to wrap the texture around the body. I can't combine this tattoo with that one, sorry.

Any possibility you could make the red version of the jaw too?
Love how the jaw blends into the Kerry neck cyberware <3
