INSTALLATION

Before downloading, make sure you have Loose File Loader installed, otherwise the mod will not work.


Extradimensional Suit

  • Extract zip folder Extradimensional Suit - Forbidden (Dark Textures)-v2.7z or Extradimensional Suit - Regression (Light Textures)-v3, whichever you choose. Each folder will have five options to choose from.
  • Make your choice, and please ONLY CHOOSE ONE then copy data_pc and paste it in your Control game folder. If you already have a data_pc folder your other option is to go to data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse\tops and pull out the *.tex from tops folder then drop them in the data_pc folder that is in your Control game folder.


    e.g. [drive]:\Epic Games\Control\data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse\tops


    [drive]:\Epic Games\Control
    [drive]:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control

Eyes

  • There are four options to the eyes 
Eyes - Forbidden-v1.7z
Eyes - Forbidden (Alternate Textures)-v1.7z
Eyes - Regression (Inverted)-v1.7z
Eyes - Regression (Inverted Alternate Textures)-v1.7z

  • Choose the colour you desire, and, choose only ONE colour option. In this case you might want to get into "data_pc" folder and pull out the colour *.tex of your choice "data_pc\textures\characters\andro\heads\courtney_hope\(your colour choice)" and drop your choice of eye colour (courtney_hope_eye_d.tex) in your game folder with the same path:
  • Usually you can find the game folder in C: or D: drive, depending where you installed the game. An example as follows:



    [drive]:\Epic Games\Control\data_pc\textures\characters\andro\heads\courtney_hope\(drop *.tex here)
    [drive]:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control\data_pc\textures\characters\andro\heads\courtney_hope\

      (drop *.tex here)

Hair

  • Extract zip folder Hair - Forbidden (Dark Textures)-v1.7z or Hair - Regression (White Textures)-v1.7z. You will have 5 options in each folder.
  • Make your choice and ONLY CHOOSE ONE COLOUR. Same as above, you may want to get in data_pc folder and pull out the shade *.tex of your choice data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse\accessories\(your choice) and drop all four hair styles or if you only want the Extradimensional Suit hair then just copy jesse_expedition_hair_a.tex into your game Control folder (in game folder: data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse\accessories). 
  • Usually you can find the game folder in C: or D: drive, depending where you installed the game. An example as follows:


    C:\Epic Games\Control
    C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control


Service Weapon


  • Extract zip folder Service Weapon - Forbidden-v1.7z or Service Weapon - Regression-v2.7z.
  • Select colour folder you desire, and copy and paste serviceweapon (data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon) into your Control folder's data_pc (Control\data_pc\textures\weapons)
  • Usually you can find the game folder in C: or D: drive, depending where you installed the game. An example as follows:


    C:\Epic Games\Control
    C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control



UNINSTALLATION

Go to where you installed the mod either C: or D: or wherever you have your game installed.

Example: C:\Epic Games\Control\data_pc
Example: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control\data_pc

Delete the following:


Extradimensional Suit

Delete the following in data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse\tops

jesse_master_top_d.tex (found in tops folder)


Eyes

Delete the following in data_pc\textures\characters\andro\heads\courtney_hope

courtney_hope_eye_d.tex


Hair

If you have installed all four variations of hair styles delete the following in data_pc\textures\characters\andro\jesse​\accessories. If you only installed jesse_expedition_hair_a​.tex then just delete that one texture.

jesse_suit_hair_a.tex
jesse_superhero_hair_a.tex


Service Weapon

Delete the following in:

data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\charge\charge_d.tex
data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\grip\grip_d.tex
data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\pierce\pierce_d.tex
data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\shatter\shatter_d.tex
data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\spin\spin_d.tex



Please note that these mods will conflict with other Extradimensional Suit, hair, eyes, and service weapon mods already installed. Make sure that if you have any of these mods such as the extradimensional suit already installed with normal maps (texture_n.tex) to delete the normal map as well.

Example:
jesse_hedron_overalls_d.tex
jesse_hedron_overalls_n.tex < delete that as well if installed



Another thing is if you want to switch a colour choice, you're not required to exit the game completely. Simply quit to menu and make the colour switch. Follow the instructions above, and you should be set to go. In some cases, normal maps jesse_hedron_accessories_n.tex will require complete exit of the game in order to do the switch, however if you are only changing diffuse maps jesse_hedron_accessories_d.tex you are not required to close the game.
