I'm a bit confused by the files, as I want to use Veil Only on IoAnother1, as shown in pictures 9 and 10.
I can manage to get only the Veil to show up, but her dress doesn't change. The only Veil file that seems to work for me is:zzElegantIo-V3_Io_VeilOnly_P.pak, but it's her default outfit underneath. I assumed, zzElegantIo-V3_IoAnother1_VeilOnly_P.pak, would've been the right one, but no Veil shows up at all. I can't get any other dress to appear, other than the blue elegant one, to show up with her Veil.
Do you have all DLCs, and have you completed the challenges to unlock Io's outfits? They will be accessible at any Mistle when changing companion if you have. The Veil Only files do exactly what they say: they only change the Veil's appearance. The outfit underneath is not touched. zzElegantIo-V3_Io_VeilOnly_P.pak changes her default outfit's veil. The others are for DLC outfits. Io_Another1 is the game's internal name for iirc "Io Alternate (Alt. Color 1)". So the IoAnother1 file will only make changes to that specific costume.
Hey, i can't decipher which optional file creates which appearance. And quite frankly i don't know how to change Io's in-game-content costume (if that is even required for this mod).

The red and gold outfit is an optional retexture for default Io and one of her DLC alternate outfits only. Blonde hair red eyed Io is the Dark Io costume which is also DLC, and only has the one appearance as shown in the images
I mean, I can remove the petticoat from the mesh trivially, but the drape and blue skirt are shall we say "not complete" as I didn't make the outfit with this in mind. Then there's my personal bias that without the white petticoat Io's undergarments end up on full display, which is hardly elegant lol
I think with a few tweaks you could put it up as an optional file, because i love what you did with the outfit in how you made it elegant, however with the bottom part so wide it doesn't really fit with the combat lore of Io's character. So if there was a way you could blend the elegance with the combat ability, it would be greatly appreciated. Possibly give her a skirt and formal pants? I don't really study fashion but I'm sure there's something like it.
anyway, spectacular outfit, would just like it to be more combat-ready.
This is a lovely outfit and suits the character well, however, I just got too distracted with the poofy skirt clipping into Io's arms and legs in weird ways, and as much as I appreciate the hard work and beautiful design, I think it could benefit from a less wide skirt.
