Could you make a config for steam deck? I got ~40 fps on maximized anti-alias, the rest of the settings are all low

delete the file, go into steam>codevein>properties>verify integrity of game files. It will restore the engine.ini file :)

This mod dramatically increases load times. I assume it's negligible on an SSD, but on a normal hard drive it is extremely noticeable.

You said to install this mod

extract the Engine.ini into the games saved config folder (%LocalAppData%\CodeVein\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\)

But I can't find that  route

    Mine is at HDD/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/CODE VEIN

Theres some files and two folder 'CodeVein' and 'Engine'

Where should I put that Engine.ini to?

Hey I'm having the same issue, have you gotten yours to work yet? Where's the best place to install it?

Never said to install at your game installation folder.
      Drop the file at C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\CodeVein\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Just copy/paste at windows search: %LocalAppData%\CodeVein\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

I haven't played it long without the mod but comparatively this mod really maxed out my GPU. My GPU was always at 100% when I used this mod.

Does this work with ReShades? I'm using https://www.nexusmods.com/codevein/mods/51 but I'm not sure if it'll conflict with these setting changes or not

I think it's mentioned that it doesn't conflict with a different ReShade (I mean this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/codevein/mods/153) but I'm not 100% sure about that one.

Idk if my reply was useful but I hope it was in some way.

It does not. FWIW, ReShade very very very rarely conflicts with mods. An easy way to know is that if a mod does not contain a .dll file that you must place in the main directory, you are safe.

Reshade work with this. Don't worry.
