NOTICE
------
These saves were generated for the original pre-Mayhem-2.0 method of Mayhem, so
they only go up to Mayhem 4 (whereas 2.0 goes up to 10). The saves do still
work in Mayhem 2.0, though they're missing Mayhems 5 through 10. There are no
plans to update this for Mayhem 2.0, since save editors now exist, and you can
just go ahead and unlock the saves yourself.

ABOUT
-----
This is a collection of Level 1 characters, right at the beginning of Covenant
Pass, but with various Mayhem levels edited into the game. The only real use
for these saves is if you wanted to go through the campaign in Normal but have
a Mayhem Mode active. There's saves for each character all the way to Mayhem
4, so you can choose which of those you'd like to try. (And best of luck to
you, should you choose M3 or M4.)
INSTALLATION
------------
To use these files, simply drop them into your savegame folder, renaming
them to use hex digits like all your other existing savegames. Your first
savegame is `1.sav`, then `2.sav`, for instance. You'll need to follow
that format for the game to see your savegame. Note that it does use hex
digits, so instead of going from `0` to `9`, it goes from `0` to `F`. The
savegame at `10.sav` is technically the sixteenth one.
DETAILS
-------
There are two variants for each character and Mayhem level:
1. A "normal" version, which *just* unlocks the Mayhem level in question. This
is identical to the original v1.0.0 saves which were released on March 3,
2020.
2. A "with anoints" version, which additionally unlocks TVHM mode. Unlocking
TVHM allows anointments to spawn while playing in normal mode, so you might
have an easier time when playing through on the higher Mayhem levels. You
can't usefully use TVHM mode itself, because TVHM won't scale below level 30
(so you'll start 29 levels behind, at level 1), but anointments should drop
when in Normal.
Note that the Mayhem Mode Selector Machine on Sanctuary III won't be visible,
but you *can* still interact with it if you know where the interaction points
would be. At first, only the Raise/Lower Mayhem Mode buttons will be active,
but if you interact with them once, leave Sanctuary, then come back, the whole
machine should be visible. When the whole machine is visible, you'll be able
to disable Mayhem Mode entirely, if you like, but if you do that and leave
Sanctuary, the machine will disappear entirely and you won't be able to
re-enable Mayhem Mode. So be careful with that. :)
This archive does include some "Mayhem 0" saves - the "normal" ones are just
the base savegames that all these edits are based on. The "with anoint"
versions will allow you to play through the the game in Normal while having
anointments spawn, but won't have Mayhem Mode active. Note that there will be
no way to enable Mayhem Mode early when using the Mayhem 0 saves, since the
machine interaction points will never be active.
These saves should be considered in the public domain. Do whatever you want
with them -- I don't even care about credit if you upload them somewhere else
or include them as part of a larger pack.
