About this mod
Reworks and buffs some of Krieg's skills to work better at endgame without changing too much about the character, such as making hellfire halitosis scale with melee damage.

Changes some of Krieg's skills to work better at endgame or in the case of a few changes them completely. Such as Hellfire Halitosis getting melee bonuses and becoming pretty good with the right build, and Burn, Baby, Burn being changed to boost Incendiary damage instead of burn damage, since burn damage is the damage over time and damage over time isn't very good in ultimate vault hunter mode.SDK or blcm mod?
- Blcm, so the mod file gets taken out of the zip folder then goes in directly in the binaries folder, unless your using other blcm mods in that case you merge them in OpenBlcmm using the import mod file(s) button in the files section. If you have borderlands 2 on Steam the binaries folders probably located at: "This Pc/Local Disk/Program Files x86/Steam/steamapps/common/Borderlands 2/binaries"
- Since its a blcm mod, if you don't have a mod that automatically executes text mod files, once you load the game open console and do the command "execute (file name).(file extension)" which will probably be called 'kriegrebalance.blcm' or something similar.
Config:
- Everythings toggleable in OpenBLCMM. By default almost everything's enabled.
Bloodlust Skill Tree:
Blood Trance Rework:
- Makes blood trance be renamed to Blood Rage
- No bonus action skill duration, instead movement speed and slight lifesteal based off of bloodlust stacks.
Option 1:
- 15% max speed at 100 stacks per point. 5/5 75% speed at 100 stacks.
- 0.5% lifesteal at 100 stacks per point. 5/5 2.5% lifesteal at 100 stacks.
Option 2:
- 10% max speed at 100 stacks per point. 5/5 50% speed at 100 stacks.
- 0.3% lifesteal at 100 stacks per point. 5/5 1.5% lifesteal at 100 stacks.
Mania Skill Tree:
Feed the Meat:
Option 1:
- Additionally gives 6% movement speed/point.
Option 2:
- Gives 12% Max health instead of 10% max health per point.
- No bonus movement speed.
Option 3
- 12% Max health per point instead of 10% max health per point.
- Additionally gives 6% movement speed/point.
Silence the Voices:
5 Options:
- No self-hits with a melee damage nerf from 50%/point to 35%/point.
- No self-hits with a melee damage nerf from 50%/point to 40%/point.
- Normal but the self-hit chance lowers for every point. (-2%/point)
- No self-hits with the normal melee damage of 50%/point.
- No self-hits with the normal melee damage of 50%/point, but with a 3%/point max health increase added.
Strip the Flesh:
- Increased non ffyl explosive damage bonus to 3.5/4/4.5% depending on what options selected.
- The ffyl bonus stays the same
Hellborn Skill Tree:
Burn, Baby, Burn:
Normally Burn, Baby, Burn increases fire damage over time, this changes it to the elemental damage itself similar to a Bone of the Ancients relic. The different element options are since a lot of enemies resist fire.
3 Options:
- Inner Flames: 8% Incendiary Damage/point
- Corrosion Carrier: 8% Corrosion Damage/point (Changed, 1.3)
- Electrical Energy: 8% Shock Damage/point. (New, 1.3)
Fuel the Fire:
Changed to be passive.
Elemental Effect Chance lowered from 50% per point to 15% per point since its a passive.
Self-Ignite Chance:
In vanilla Borderlands 2, the defaults 7.5% per point in the top two hellborn skills.
3 Options:
- Increased to 10% self-ignite chance per point in the top two hellborn skills. (New, 1.3)
- Increased to 15% self-ignite chance per point in the top two hellborn skills.
- Increased to 20% self-ignite chance per point in the top two hellborn skills. (New, 1.3)
Hellfire Halitosis:
- Buffed by melee damage bonuses
- Skill description updated to mention its affected by melee damage. (New, 1.3)
Krieg's Innate Melee Bonus:
- Pretty much Krieg's melee gets a higher damage increase per level compared to other characters, but starts at a lower number so normally until level 13 Krieg does less melee damage. This just changes the per level bonus from 2% to the selected percent. Below in a spoiler there's more information on that.
- 2.25% per level at level 80 is around 7.7% more melee damage compared to vanilla Borderlands 2.
- 2.5% per level at level 80 is about 15.4% more melee damage compared to vanilla Borderlands 2.
- 3% per level at level 80 is around 31% more melee damage in comparison to vanilla Borderlands 2.
- By default Krieg's melee is 2% more per level compared to normal. but multiplied by 0.8 so until a certain level Krieg's melee is weaker than the other characters.
- Options to change the melee per level to 2.25%, 2.5%, or 3% per level.
Though weirdly, the extra melee from this doesn't seem to increase roid damage. Pretty much Krieg's melee becomes slightly stronger per level in addition to the normal level up damage increase.
