This mod is amazing, definitely making it more fun to play the game while my internet is out lol, btw I couldn't find this anywhere on joltz video or on the nexus site but is there a way to change the drop rates to be simular to 100%?
But I do... it gets boring and too tedious to farm enemies my level to upgrade the random gear I gotten at level 36 when I'm 10 to 20 levels higher I'm not saying your wrong in how you feel about it making it boring to the player, but it should help to also give player choice in what they believe may make their experience more enjoyable.
I do think a 4% drop chance is kind of low for weapon type/manufacturer runs. outside of jakobs cove you wont see any drops. for randomizer its ok because the weapons tend to be op/crazy. other than that keep it up with this awesome mod.
How do you get the pre-made saves to show up in the game? I placed them with my other save files and when I go into the game either normal GOTY or Enhanced the saves don't show. Figured I would try a pre-made save to save messing with Willow Tree.
Hey so I followed the installation guide in the description but I haven't gotten the module to show up in my inventory. Curious as to if there's anything that I've missed. The only thing I didn't do is follow the the willow steps as I don't have that installed, could that be the issue? Another note is this is a fresh playthrough as well.
Yeah you can run it with EWO and Arsenal. But keep in mind that the more mods you run at the same time the more unstable the game becomes, and it's more suspectible to crashes.
I am getting the modules to spawn into my inventory using willowtree, and I am using them when starting a new playthrough, but killing an enemy does not yield any drops. I am using the Randomizer Data Module btw. I should have everything in the right place like the .upk files, anybody else having this problem.
That's great to hear that you decided to start a new playthrough, that's the purpose of this mod, to spice up a playthrough and break the repetetiveness.

So, check your paypal. Have a few other questions for ya if you don't mind. Does the legendary chest count as enemy dropped loot for Randomizer's purpose? I suppose not but figured I'd ask. Also, are you planning on posting the Bandit Farm Shield up anywhere at some point? I used to d/l it off the Gearbox forums but it seems to be gone now so yeah.
One last thing, is it possible to change the weapon proficiency stats? I'd like the try and change say weapon damage for recoil reduction of my soldier. Not sure if this is remotely possible.

So far I could not figure out how to edit base game, and chest loot or weapons held by enemies are part of base game, so for now it's not possible to get modded weapons from chests. One exception is when you create custom map with custom chest, but for base game nope. ChaosWarrior is working on a tool that might support such thing in the future. But as far as I talked with him it needs a lot of development time.
I think I still should have Bandit Weapons files somewhere on my drive. I can post it here on Nexus if you want, but I am not planning to develop that mod any further.
It should be possible, but that would require creating custom globals like LegX did with his Essentials Mod.
Thanks for answering the questions. As far as the Bandit Shield - I can't say I'd be disappointed if you were to post them on the Nexus. I would like to use the mod again but it's completely up to you. If it's a pain in the butt than don't worry about it! Also, no problem about the chests not dropping the randomized loot, I just wanted to know whether to keep using keys :P
That's amazing i watched his playthrough and downloaded/played your mod months ago without realizing your the same person. You have amazing talent. Just so you know (If you haven't tested it yet) this mod works with multiplayer. The party leader can activate the random switch but when the second player tries to activate it, it duplicates. Thanks again!!

I created special version of the mod for Joltz so he could do the showcase.

Yes, the WillowTree is crucial if you want to add custom items to your inventory.

It should be compatible with Essentials, although I didn't test it personally.
I would recommend Data Module Expanded, so you can get all possible weapons when you run these mods in tandem.
From what you said you have installed everything corretly, you just need to kill more enemies to get a drop.

Normally Enhanced Edition is a bit 'mod unfriendly', but since this mod doesn't edit any animations there shouldn't be any problems to run it.

Yes I know Joltz, he covered my Eridian Weapons Overhaul mod. I might talk with him about checking it out.
To be honest this mod was kinda inspired by Joltz's challenge playthroughts :)
I did test it in multiplayer, and I am aware of that bug. As long as you hear the 'click' sound when you activate Data Module it will work.
Sadly I have no idea how to fix that. Borderlands net code might be at fault, and it's something that is beyond my expertise as a modder.
