I'm on the goty edition, I used hxd to mod the engine file and got console commands working, added zed's patch file and oasis, but when I pull up the console it says "(Player(eg. Brick)) has abandoned your struggle! The creatures of Pandora weaken!" As if I left the game. I can quick travel and pull up my echo and I'm still brick, but when I use command "Open W_Scrap_Oasis_P" it takes me to Oasis, but it says, "Brick left the game." Then it makes me a level 1 Roland. I can't seem to find anyone online with similar issues on Google, anyone else know what this is about?
I used Willow tree to add it that way, but still curious as to why the console kicks me from the game like that
For those that want this in the Enhanced Edition you just need to follow the steps in the readme file in "Temporary Map Replacement" section. It works. The Full DLC Fast Travel HUB is still on Google Drive. It turns slot 6 in the Oasis into a fast travel hub for the full game so you can get to places directly like Craw or Knoxx. As of the time of this post you can get it here: code.google.com/archive/p/s6fulldlcfasttravels/downloads
Hi, I tried this on the GOTY Enhanced Edition, using the Temporary Map Replacement method. However, when I loaded into the Oasis map, it said that I'd discovered the Fyrestone Coliseum, even though I was clearly in the Oasis map. After restoring the original Coliseum map, I now have Fyrestone Coliseum on the fast travel list, but NOT Oasis. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
You have to leave Oasis in the Fyrstone Colisseum spot. You loose access to the FC but who cares? It's a dumb pvp pile of crap map. It's currently the only way to have Oasis in your game.
Ah right, slightly different from the instructions in the Oasis Readme, which is what I followed:
-Run Borderlands, select a character as normal and enter the game. Travel to the Fyrestone Coliseum and the Oasis will load. Once loaded, a message should appear at the top of the screen stating that the Oasis outpost has been discovered. (This will place the Oasis into the fast travel list)
-Exit the game, replace the modified level with the backup of the Coliseum from before. Everything's back to normal, and you now have the Oasis fast travel point!
Those instructions are for the original game. They no longer work for most people running the enhanced ed. Replacing FC with Oasis and leaving it that way is the only thing that works. Just travel to FC in the list when you want to go to Oasis. Did you find the DLC fast-travel map? It's the only reason I still run Oasis. I like being able to go directly to the armory, Ajax or Craw without driving for a few minutes per run.
can i completely delete FC out of my maps? or should i still have it as a backup? Because I tried to delete FC and replace it with Oasis but that didn't work, it still loaded FC for me
Just want to say thank you for this - it will save me hours of traipsing back and forth in the DLCs because Gearbox were too lazy to put in fast travel markers for each area. Love this mod, endorsed.
I'm having a similar issue. My game doesn't exactly crash, but it displays an error message (http://i.imgur.com/Omh9YHa.jpg) and returns to the main menu. Any chance someone could help? =|

Thanks in advance.
