They came preaching peace and the end to all wars. They promised protection, and the means to defend oneself. Yet all they brought with them was destruction and death at their heel. The armor that was intended to protect the weak? Sold to common mercenaries and bandits. Impenetrable defense? Shilled out to those undeserving of its protection. The heartless know no mercy, and this land has suffered under the threat that looms on the horizon.

The world wars with itself. Previously minor threats have suddenly become dire, and major threats have become even more deadly. Bandits now roam the countryside with confidence in their defense. Mercenaries now ruthless, with some plate armor on their backs. Corrupt knights now take advantage of their wealth, and secure only the best armaments for themselves. For months, the weak had no way of defending themselves from these new threats.

Yet from the scars of death and destruction wrought upon the land, new powers rise. Once a group of loyal knights, recent corruption has led a band of warriors to break off and form their own faction: the Sentinels. Adorned with new plate armor, this group is duty-bound by no country or kingdom, and serves to defend whomever they deem fit. Whether that be by coin or by chivalry is up for discussion.

At the same time, another group formed under different ideals: the Paladins. With an iron will, these steel-clad fighters hold to their faith as source of their strength. Like the Sentinels, they help only those they deem righteous and holy. However, one ill-fated day led the group against their rival faction. Not much is known of the incident, as both sides claim different ideas. All that is known of the event was that it was a bloodbath between Paladins and Sentinels. Since that day, the two factions have been at odds with each other.

As a result of both allies and enemies alike being supplied with new armor, wars have spread across the continent. Kingdoms seeking to expand their territory have sent out their armies against weaker kingdoms. Bandits constantly raid villages and towns. Factions frequently skirmish over jobs and resources. The once-peaceful land has fallen to nothing more than petty battles and unnecessary death.

This mod combines all the armor sets from my Medieval Armory mods, as well as adding in a plethora of other features. Within this mod are 4 unique armor styles, with 4 variations each, and with 2 sets each for both Males and Females. In total, this mod adds 32 quality armor sets to the game. In addition, a wide array of universal ornaments are available to add some flair to your armor, such as plumes, capes, and hoods.

In order to make the armor fit seamlessly into the game, many features have been added. Firstly, every armor set has its own 1v1 wave as well as wave selection within the book. Fully armored enemies are also now integrated into base game waves and dungeons to back up their comrades. And as a bonus, various armor pieces have been mixed in with base game sets to add more variety to enemies.

Now that the full release of Medieval Armory is out, there are various updates I have planned for the mod:
  • Ornaments Update - Will add a wide array of new ornaments to the battlefield.
  • Fire Forged Update - Will add a new variant for each armor set with matching textures, that way sets can be better mixed
  • Bosses Update - Will focus on adding new unique armor pieces for hidden bosses in the mod

Just to tease, there are a few hidden easter eggs and surprises within the mod that you'll have to find by playing.

This mod has been a long time coming. I've spent countless hours working on Medieval Armory trying to get it just right and perfect for release. If you want to see future progress on my mods as well as take part in beta testing, be sure to join my modding server EmClear's Arsenal.

Be sure to check out my other big mods, like the Automail Combat Prosthesis. I am still hard at work making mods, and will hopefully provide much more content in the future.

If you wish to only use certain sets or don't want to have as large of a mod file, feel free to download the armors separately to pick and choose what you want:

As of writing this, there are no known issues. Be sure to inform me if you find any!
