If you have a problem with some sabers not having sound when moving them in swing sound, this is a problem with U12 with the Outer Rim mod being broken, the mod is all buggy with infinite loading, bugs in the npcs with the flickering sabers, the game crashing everything is a problem on the U12, I already did tests without my mod and only with the Outer Rim and the mod is really broken and the sounds some sabers like Pong Krell or Savage may have the swing sound broken, in fact the Outer Rim mod is so buggy that isolated bugs can happen in the case of a bug that happens only to you and not to the other, I've read reports of people being with all the sabers without sounds and that's without my mod so watch out for Outer Rim mod fixes when they come out or new versions that fixed the bugs.

It is well explained how to install, you go to the folder inside the zip file and take (THE OUTER RIM folder, This is the folder that you need to put in the Blade and Sorcery mod folder) and place it in the folder where the mods are and replace the files, my mod is not separate from the Outer Rim mod it replaces the files from the mod.

His lightsaber already has this effect, by itself, it has effects specific to the lightsaber, independent of the crystal you place, but in the U12, as I make clear above in the description here in the comments, it has a problem with the sound effects due to a bug in the Outer Rim mod itself, I recommend you use the sound effects of the prequels + the clone wars, it's as faithful as possible, If you watch Maul's fight with Savage vs Palpatine in The Clone Wars, my sound effects are identical: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCUjlDgNl-c&list=PLEh8pd-FJc5PoxQ-VceWUhB-8Oq8W-TPF&index=47

Hey, i was wondering if it was possible to add the ignition of anakins saber when he was about to kill the younglings?
If you can then that would be nice.

The optional version with the ignition sound from The Force Awakens has this ignition in the blue crystal.

This mod alters the Outer Rim mod only, that is only available in the PC version of the game.

I found a good video from the SWBF2 modding page with some crisp sounds. Would you consider adding a version with these sounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk9vNr2XmuI

I have mods for the lightsaber sounds of Star Wars Battlefront 2 too, read the description of the mod here where I say that I took the sounds from the mod itself and merged them, unfortunately there is no way to add them from the outside, in fact check my mod and my videos on YouTube about sound change for lightsabers in Star Wars Battlefront 2:

I couldn't get, the asset bundle extractor, it's very old and it can't open without corrupting the lightsaber or blasters bundle where all the mod's sound effects are, just opening it corrupts the compressed bundle, what I discovered is that The sound effects are driven by TXT Json files where all the game's lightsaber crystals are located, and they say ignition, retraction, idle, whoosh etc..., so I copied that for example to make the ignition sound From the blue crystal of the sequels, I took the ignition from the orange txt file and put it in the blue one and there you can control the volume, the bass, the high-pitched sound, etc... in everything, from retraction to idle, I wanted to import the sounds I already tried and I couldn't use the asset bundle extractor or other tools when trying to open it corrupts, so the sounds in my mod are just sounds that were already in the mod.

If I could, I would import and redo all the sounds, that's what I wanted most, I've had this mod for about 2 years, but the first version was deleted by malware or someone who hacked my account, luckily I managed to recover it, and I didn't take any ban, thank goodness.

Just go to the same path as my files, they are just lines of text, but you have to configure them correctly, otherwise the sound will be horrible

I just change the sound of the crystals, other than that, I just change the color of some hilts, but I don't make changes like that, it's not the purpose of my mod.

I would recommend it for the movie that you like more, if you like the sounds and movie from the Original Trilogy, you use these sounds, I much prefer the original trilogy, because the prequels or sequels are all a sound mess, all the sounds are a most of them are all the same, from villains and heroes etc...., I don't think anyone likes it, so much so that I'm going to rework the lego + star wars battlefront 2 version for an alternative version of the prequels where all the ignition sounds are the same, except for the red crystals that will have villain sounds, I have the PC to upgrade and it is disassembled, when I put it back together I will review the sounds and make them even better, I selected the sounds of each character and placed them in each crystal, if you notice the sounds in the movies are a mess, there is no consistency, the original trilogy is more unique in the sounds, so if it were for me to suggest, I would suggest the original trilogy, and also because I love the classic sounds of lightsabers from Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.

Well said, I agree that the uniqueness of both sides should be preserved and I will be continuing to use the original trilogy. I will also keep a lookout for that update, thanks!
