This is the traditional armor set of a 17th century European pikeman. It features a chestplate with tassets and a helmet, and was usually worn over a doublet or gambeson and sometimes with gauntlets. The helmet, a pot morion-style helmet, features small ear guards and a molded crest along the top. The chestplate covers the front and sides of the body well along with the tassets which hang over the hips and thighs. It is standard and functional and the plates are strapped by leather belt. The helmet covers the head well without blocking vision at all. The standard loadout of the pikeman was a pike and one handed sword. At times halberdiers and two handed swordsmen would also be placed in pike formations. Keep them at bay!
IMPORTANT WEARING NOTE: The chestplate can sometimes be hard to equip in the mirror, if you have trouble, just use the equip function from the book. You can wear some things underneath the chestplate like shirts and some jackets.
IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT This helmet and armor appear in the book under the "Plates" category in Apparel. The helmet should be placed near the front of the head, in the "mouth" slot of the MoreSlots mod https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/3943 As default, this mod does not hide the helmet when worn. This is intended for immersion and the helmet has been designed for first person use. If you'd like to disable the helmet in first person view, unfortunately I have no idea how to do so right now. Thanks for understanding! Also, this helmet almost certainly does not protect you at all! The armor, however, does! In fact, this mod has absolutely no quality control! I'm literally just here because I wanted a helmet to LARP in again! IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT
