Unfortunately, when I equipped some pirates with the flintlock and a bag of ammo, they couldn't actually use it. They just stood around with the gun holstered for a few seconds and then despawned. They can't even use the gun as a bludgeon.
Even Fisher's Elemental Firearms and NPC Gun Waves can't help, as MMP doesn't use that framework. There might be a way for NPCs to be programmed to use the pistol, but I don't see any MMP waves that include any guns so I doubt it's been done. Maybe in the future?
I also looked for flintlock-type guns that are supported under Fisher's mod and I couldn't find any. There's a mod called Pirate Stuff (U11) that looks interesting, but again it doesn't use Fisher's and doesn't include any waves.
Hey man, loving the mod! Is it possible to have a pirate vs faction waves? It would be awesome to feel like you are either raiding together with the pirates or defending the town/citadel against them alongside the knights.
Thanks, and great idea! I've added pirates vs. knights and pirates vs. mercenaries. I didn't add gladiators or bandits because the pirates use similar clothes and it's hard to tell them apart sometimes.
These pirate waves are the coolest custom waves I've ever fought, just one request if you can. Can you add 1v1 and 1v2 waves? I like having the realistic blood mod but my pc cant handle three npcs at once with it enabled, a 1v1 wave would be perfect, or 2 if u can!
