Collection of Jedi Knight maps converted for B&S.

Thank you for checking out our Star Wars Jedi Knight: Map Pack for Blade and Sorcery!

These maps were created for the 2003 LucasArts title  "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy".  
All credit for models, textures, and sounds go to Raven Software. 

This project has been a labor of love over many months!
Lots of work went into each map (not a quick port!) and some liberties were taken regarding new objects for traversal as the maps were originally built for high jumping being a main mechanic (with certain mods you can do this, but the AI cannot). 

The maps were enhanced with up-scaled textures and Physically Based Rendering (PBR) maps for each.  Realtime lighting/shadows are also used.  All maps contain ambient sounds from the original game, as well as for maps that support them, custom coded platforms and doors with their own sounds.

A new inclusion with the recent version are Interactable Items!  These include Crates, Containers, Barrels and several other items across the maps can now be pushed around and picked up with telekinesis and gravity!  Have fun dropping crates on your enemies!

Some maps also have Breakable Structures that will come apart after too many hits!  Try striking the Pillars on Yavin IV, or the Stone Pylons on Abandoned City!

Also new to the recent release are Item Pickups!  Just like in the original game, there are Health pickups placed in various points around each map. 
The Med Pack, which when picked up will heal you 100% to full health, and the Bacta Canister which will heal you 50%.  These pickups have sounds that play upon pick up, and when collected will de-spawn for 35 seconds before spawning again.

Our main focus is on adding all the original multiplayer maps to the game.  So far we have all the Duel maps (up to 6 spawn points), Free-For-All maps (up to 10 spawn points), and two CTF maps (up to 12 spawn points).

  • Original game textures, up-scaled 400% over the original resolution. 
  • PBR materials were also created for every texture, giving them more detail and reflection properties.

  • Environmental Effects - Snow and Ash particles on Hoth and Taspir maps respectively, new VFX with smoke for flame/ground fog added to maps

Known Issues:

- Imperial Drop Zone has mesh that vibrates, only part of map that does.  Difficult to fix without rebuilding the mesh.  Will look into solutions in the future.
- Health Pickups will not clear the red around the screen if too low of health, will go away once you are struck again

To install, either use vortex or drop the JKPack folder into your "Blade & Sorcery\BladeAndSorcery_Data\StreamingAssets" folder.
