Not that I know of. There are certain "dismemberment points" where limbs can be detached, like the shoulder, wrist, knee, etc. You can't cut them off at any arbitrary point. Some other mods let you cut off the torso at the waist, but it's basically a dismemberment point that exists but was disabled by default. If you change the settings to make it too easy to dismember, then limbs basically fly off when barely hitting them.
I tested out the latest version of Simple Dismemberment (1.15) on U11.3 and it seems to work fine. I tried it with both MMP installed and disabled.
How did you install the mod? Have you checked your log? You can either press F8 to read it on your screen while the game is runnning, or you can go to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Warpfrog\BladeAndSorcery\Player.log
Do you remember what the original value for the dismemberment velocity was? I want it to be a little more difficult than it is with this mod but not as difficult as the base game..
There are a bunch of different values. In general, I divided by 5, except for the ones that weren't able to dismember at all (dagger and rapier). I think I divided those by 2?
You can see the values for yourself by extracting the .json files. Just copy StreamingAssets\Default\bas.jsondb somewhere, then rename it to bas.zip. Extract it and you'll have all the individual files. Mine are found in the Damagers subdirectory and are named the same as the originals.
Is there a way to configure this mod so that only decapitations are easier? I don't want to be able of easily chopping off limbs as that just makes the game comically easy.
I can make it a download option. You could do it yourself if you wanted to, but there are quite a few values to change. Also, the amount of force required to cause dismemberment is a single value that affects all limbs and the head, so limbs would still be easier than normal to sever.
You could also try out Piepop101's Dismemberment to see if you like it. It uses a DLL (mine is just JSON tweaks), so it may be able to change things that mine can't.
I just took a look and I realized that I can't do it after all. The values that I was thinking of apply to different tiers of weapons (which are currently all the same anyway), not to body parts. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust limbs separately. There are some settings in the creature ragdoll files, but not for what I'd need. The only way would be through a DLL.
It looks like Sectory has adjustable parameters for dismemberment of individual body parts. I was testing it out with my Better Decaps mod and noticed them there.
It's in Mods\Sectory\Settings\GeneralSettings.json. "Slice" refers to dismemberment. However, looking at the documentation, it looks like it only affects pressure-based dismemberment, which is a feature of Sectory.
Yeah, just open the Damager_*.json files in any text editor and modify them however you like. They only contain the dismemberment values in them, so there's not much you can mess up. You can always reinstall the mod if something breaks somehow.
What is the point of updating this is Piepop already has his? and u included the same files This is his Dismemberment mod = https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/1934

Edit: Can't do it after all. See below.

So what if it's the same files? That's how you modify dismemberment. Can't do much about that.
