Sooo I've tried this on my no crystal sandbox character with no mods that make dismemberment easier but for some reason whenever I cuff an NPC one of their hands gets cut off. Why does this happen to me?
I have heard if you had other mods installed some of them cause issues with my mod, specifically this one mod for like hand stuff, i got to look more into it.
LOVE this concept. Non-lethal restrain dungeon runs could be amazing. I only wish it were easier to cuff behind the back. Any time I move the arm anywhere, the physics completely wig out and the NPC goes flying haha. I also can't seem to attach the cuffs anywhere but the wrists atm.
10/10 missed the old Dark chains mod so this fills the void.. paired with the cure for fascism mod and it brings out a dark side of me i didnt know about.
using all the modern clothing available (hoodies etc) to make kitchen knife wielding crackheads in the dungeons, and other "modern" weapons too of course.
then go in with a gun and these handcuffs to bring some justice haha
Come on man, did you have to use AI generated art? If this was an accident that's fine but if not then that's kinda fucked up and I'd appreciate it if you could replace it
Wait are you being serious? It's less fucked up to prevent artists from getting paid than it is to use up a s#*! ton of natural resources just to generate a shitty image for your Blade and Sorcery mod? You aren't actually serious, right?
isn't it fucked up to expect someone creating a mod for free to pay someone to do art, so you can look at the title image for 3 seconds and forget about it by the end of the day? Also creating an ai image barely uses resources, any modern pc can do that in seconds. Booting up bas uses way more electricity than creating a single image.
Why would someone with practically no audience releasing content for free pay potentially hundreds in commission to have a fantasy piece made? They wouldn't have hired an artist even if AI image generation didn't exist, they'd just lift an image from Google or make something quick and dirty in Paint/PS.
And if you think image generation uses a "s#*! ton" of natural resources, I'm hazarding a guess that you don't really know what you're talking about. The enormous energy expenditure related to AI is primarily due to training occurring in giant datacenters, not hobbyists generating images at home (or even cloud-based services like Midjourney, at an individual level). Inference is extremely cheap in terms of energy cost when compared to training.
surely it takes less resources to simply take a decent screenshot of your mod instead of using a softwear that steals from artists while better representing your creation. Everyone else here does it so its not far fetched
you dont SERIOUSLY think people wanna pay a bunch of money for a mod cover? and where tf are you getting this "s#*! ton of natural resources" from? Its AI, if people pay hundreds if not thousands for a computer, they should be able to use AI to create a photo lmao

then we just need taser and pepper spray :)
ty mate
how'd you like to lose your job to a machine that steals from you and everyone with the same profession

everybody and their mom uses ai for everything, worry about that and not a f*#@ing screenshot in a free f*#@ing mod
