I just wanna add real quick, the damage caused by the common dagger was added purpose because the common dagger (the dagger on tier 3) is pretty powerful with the damage multiplier, ect. the other daggers on tier 1 and tier 2 in the skill tree shouldn't damage you. also, when suing the spell, you have to throw and grab it, not swipe. it's a common mistake, dont worry.
As a mostly knife guy, I love it. Wasn't very hard to learn to use at all. Doing the motion and having a dagger is sweet. Is there anything I can delete or change to make them not float. or at least not float after a second so i can throw them? Or hell a throwing dagger version would be just as cool. Unless its something I overlooked in the tree.
i did try to make a throwing dagger version with it being a seperate spell and altering the offset xyz and the starting momentum. It ultimately failed and I did try fixing the gravity bug however i didnt know where to even start.
thanks, i just implimented it into crystal hunt. the new file version 1.3 and its located in Update Files so it keeps the original, simple dagger summon spell as well
this is actually pretty good for a first mod! probably best you get a special icon for it to avoid confusion though. the flip spell made the mistake too
a couple of things i noticed after trying to use this mod: 1) it doesnt stab. tried to stab a npc with the dagger and it wouldn't stab at all 2) whenever you summon the dagger, it hurts you so using this during crystal hunt really isn't viable
aside from these things, the premise of the mod is there, just needs a little work to make sure everything is working as intended
the dagger summon spell is meant to summon the dagger to hold, not throw however i am currently updating the mod and as for the damage, that will have a skill to aid with that
