Adds custom events to allow the Heavy Metal Flashpoints after the 1st to re-appear even after they've expired.

This mod provides a workaround to the "Heavy Metal" DLC campaign bug, where if a Flashpoint other than the first is left to expire, it doesn't respawn and the campaign is stalled forever.
It works by allowing (a duplicate of) the event responsible for the spawn of the next campaign step to pop again.
Installation
NOTE: This mod requires ModTek.
Extract the "HMFlashpointFix" folder to your \BATTLETECH\Mods folder (e.g. for Steam, that would be "\Steam\SteamApps\common\BATTLETECH\Mods").
It will be automatically activated by ModTek during the next start up of the game.
How to use
- Pass time until the Event corresponding to your campaign step pops again (it should normally be the first one to pop - no other Event should pop first).
- The Event will spawn the Flashpoint again.
Recommendation: only enable the mod when experiencing the bug, and disable it once the Flashpoint has spawned. Note that the duplicate Event will not break anything if it is run while the Flashpoint is still active; it'll simply have no effect (unless you choose another option than the first time around) other than eat up one Event occurrence from your queue.
How it works
The Events are duplicates of the original Heavy Metal Campaign events, made to be able to appear the same way as other Events - except those actually spawn the Heavy Metal Flashpoints like the originals.
They are made to trigger only if:
- The previous Flashpoint has been completed (e.g. "Of Unknown Origin" if stalled on "Hunting Season")
- The next Flashpoint has not been completed (e.g. "Hunting Season" in the above case)
- The "duplicate" Event has not been completed (the one from this mod, to avoid spamming the same event until you complete the Flashpoint).
You can check the .json files for each custom event to see which Company Tags they check.
Technically, you could use a Save Editor to remove the checked tags in order to replay the campaign starting from the 2nd Flashpoint if so you'd like.
Limitations
The Event will pop even if the Flashpoint is still active (i.e. you are not experiencing the bug), as I don't know how to test that a Flashpoint is active but yet to be attempted.
