After working with Hobbes, I have a version of Galaxy at War compatible with Hyades Rim. To install this, simply install Hyades Rim, then unzip the contents of this folder to wherever you have HYR installed. If you are using the ModLoader, delete the ModTek directory. If you are using the Mods folder, just overwrite when prompted and continue as normal.

This compatibility allows the Pirates to participate in the wars going on with the other factions in the Periphery. They will take systems, lose systems, form and lose alliances. You can even pick your favorite pirate faction and have them take over the entirety of the Periphery if you would like!

3 Factions start on the map, and 6 more can pop up through the course of gameplay depending on how things go.

I am playing Battletech Revised, which incorporates Galaxy at War, and the red "Pirate Activity" symbol seems a) to be triggered by anything from 4-5% up, and b) to cover over store symbols when using the filters. Is there any way to adjust when the flag appears, or to disable it? Does the "PirateSystemFlagValue" in the mod.json cover this? Cheers

I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but I'm noticing pirate controlled systems have really strange numbers describing their current war state.

    For example:

Can someone help me understand what this is all about?  If there's something wrong I'd like to fix it.

There is some misguidance in mod's description. Actually it works in campaign mode, but activates only after story completion, when full map is unlocked. By the way, great work, donZappo and gnivler, this mod is brilliant!

Hmmm still cannot get this to work with CE 3025.  Am I doing something wrong?

It hasn't been updated in forever and, sadly, no longer works with any of the mega-mods.

RogueTech allows you to choose this for install but it fails up injection so I assume its not compatible, they even warn that its old and crapped in ways in the wiki. Shame.,

Friends, Romans, countrymen... is this mod dead? I have tried to get it to work with BTA, and was heartbroken to find it not working.

donZappo hasn't been on here in forever.

GaW isn't compatible with BEX, BTA, or HR as it hasn't been updated in a while.

You might be able to find donZappo at the discord for BEX, BTA, or Roguetech to ask him about it.

Any chance this will be compatible with Battletech Extended 3025 - Commander's Edition again ?

A few questions, what does the ExpandedMap setting refer to?  Is it linked to the full Inner Sphere mod?  What is the impact of setting it to "true" when using the vanilla map?

So donZappo a question about install, so do I install Hyades Rim and then put "Galaxy at war" file in Hyades Rim folder, or do I download "Hyades Rim compatibility" file and put that in Hyades Rim folder, or do I download both files and put them in HR folder?

Edit: When I try to run Galaxy at War and Hyades Rim I get "Failed to create saved game please check disk storage" error

Edit 2: After spending two hours, trying to make this work I'm at a complete loss, I tried everything, I deleted all mods from the mods folder except modtek and battletech performance fix, then just added and started Galaxy at War and that works fine with vanilla game, then I tried Hyades Rim only and it works, but when I try Hyades Rim and Galaxy at War together (I apply the GaW Hyades Rim patch I think I applied it correctly but I could be wrong) and I can't make it work all I get is "Failed to create saved game please check disk storage" error and the mod doesn't work, please help if anyone managed to make Hyades Rim and GaW work

donZappo hasn't replied on here in some time, but HR and GaW haven't been compatible for a while now, which makes me very sad.

Unfortunately when I run it and BTA I get a memory error which makes me think they are also no longer compatible.

I'm curious about BEX compatibility as well. I haven't played it yet, but this mod is the reason I got interested in BEX (along with the additional mechs/tech).

yeah it seems galaxy at war is no longer an option in BEX, sad really it was really fun, now it's kinda boring to play BEX without Galaxy at war and vice versa

      +1
The end game thrill is gone without war to occupy me for as long as I want to continue any given career.

I prefer less, longer careers, than more, shorter ones, so not having GaW is really putting a kink in that.
