    Hi!
    I've just finished playing this flashpoint as part of a YouTube series I've been doing for the "Extended - Commander's Edition" mod.
    I have to say that I was very impressed, as I enjoyed it immensely and also found it to be a fantastic challenge.
    I was saddened to see that the only other YT recordings of this was by someone who was using heavily modded, and frankly ridiculously OP clan 'mechs who was one-shotting assault 'mechs and making this look like a complete cakewalk. I felt that those videos did not showcase the flashpoint in any real, meaningful way.
    So, while my playing this flashpoint is part of a larger LP, I felt that my playing of "The Raid" deserved its own little playlist as well:

      I'm going to add your playthrough to my watchlist. I love seeing how other people react to the encounters.

      EDIT: Watched the first pre-ep where you went through the intial dialog. Thanks for catching some of the typos! It becomes hard to see after re-reading the same things endlessly. However, some of the times it was just being read wrong. Like it was "fine china" not "fire china"

      Glad you found Maj. Wahyu's chatter chuckle worthy and left you confused. I was shooting for a bit of a "cowboy" merc commander.

      Yeah, reading all the dialogue for every chapter (not just your flashpoint) does put a bit of a strain on my old eyes. lol

    Just finished my second play through of "The Raid" (see link below). I don't know if it was because of tweaks you made, because of having already played it once, or a combination of the two, but it seemed a bit easier the second time around.
    Still thoroughly enjoyed it, however.
    I'm so glad there are people like you around who make such quality content for BATTLETECH.

    As per our last conversation after my first play through, have you given any more thought to what, or if, you'll be making for any more custom flashpoints?
    Have you thought about making something that revolves around, say, the war of 3039, perhaps?

    Regardless, I hope you keep making quality content such as this in the near future.

    So working on this Flashpoint near end of Career (lose my blackmarket access isn't so painful) and I ran into a bug I think.

    Completed the 3rd (I think) mission where you set up the targeting beacons on the base (OMG that was a hard mission, lost a mech + MW). I couldn't get to the extraction point so I had to fight and kill ALL the enemy waves. LRM mech out of ammo. Bullshark with UAC5 x3 ran out of ammo on killing shot of last OPFOR.

    Anyway, completed mission, got my salvage...and no new mission. Still show flash point active from Argo screen, but it looks like it will restart). No flash point reward. Reading on forums it looks like there are some more missions...but I got nothing.

    Anyway to advance? Or is it just a wait and see? I have had some days pass while doing mech repairs and fitting out new mechs. I STILL have Black Market access.

    Playing ALL expansions with BEX 3025 CE (updated for 1.8.1.1) Hard Ironman Career (1.0 multiplier)

      I'm just starting to return to the BT mod scene. This is certainly on my list of mods to update, however I'm working on cFixes and Better AI first. I should get those done in a few weeks, then on to The Raid. What I can see so far is, the Target Ack. missions got redone at some point and other contracts have little changes too that may impact playing this through.

      I've just updated this for 1.9.1. Let me know if you get any more errors. Not sure if BEX needs to do anything more to get this working, but I'm notifying the major modpack authors about the update.

    I love this mod! After a long time I wanted to play again. After trying it out for a long time, I found that the mod did not work in conjunction with Community Asset Bundle CAB ("The Raid could not be loaded" blah ...). If I switch off CAB, it will load properly ...

      I'm working on updating this mod for 1.9.1. The Target Acquisition mission type changed a lot and I need to take time to merge in the new changes to my existing contract file.

    I enjoyed this more than vanilla flashpoints. However, mission three felt like a 30 minute ticklefight cutscene because of all the units

      Thank for playing. Yea, in retrospect I just turned everything on because I could and that was cool. I feel like I learned a lot of lesson about good pacing from making this FP. Originally this was planned as 5 consecutive missions... That turned out to be not fun.

      I played through it a second time with roguetech. I waited later into the campaign and instead of 16 tanks I got mostly mechs and it was fun.

      Ah, RT has so many changes I can't say what it will or won't change to the force composition. I think the most on board units is around 12 enemy, 2 APC allies and 5 or 6 allied turrets in the 5th mission on the B track plus your own forces.
