  • BattleTech 1.1.0-303R and CBT:BO 1.4 Updates

    First and foremost I'd would like to announce that if you are coming from a previous game version that v1.4 of this mod has been tested with an old BattleTech 1.0.4-280D save games which were one was using v1.391 of this mod and one was vanilla and in both cases the running of v.1.4 of this mod with the updated BT 1.1.0 client  resulted in SAVE GAME COMPATIBILITY with those old saves.  If your old save isn't working and you were using many mods the source of your issue is most likely those other mods haven't been updated. If your old save isn't loading up and was vanilla please make sure you installed BTML & ModTek correctly and that thi smod is placed in the correct subfolder as outline in this tutorial.

  • Changing Course (1mo later)

    If you've the previous article or been following the development of this mod you'll know that I considered this mods initial goal to have been achieved and finished. That goal having been primarily focused on overall Mech and Weapon balancing. Today a new version has been released 1.39 which shifts focus away from the earlier works of this mod as it begins to look at and attempt to address new areas of the game like the perk leveling system & the AI logics.

    As always as this mod enters into this 2nd phase your feedback and suggestions are welcome on things that you feel should be addressed balanced wise. I can't make any promises as to if your suggestion could or would be implemented but I'll definitely take a look to see if it's in the realm of my capabilities and if ...

  • Balancing Work Completed

    Greetings and salutation fellow mech warriors. I am proud to announce to you that the mod has now wrapped up it's final balancing change and is considered to be 'complete'. Of course that doesn't mean that work here is done, when the game is updated in the future their will undoubtedly be new features that'll need balancing.

    Plus ultimately you the community are of course always welcome to suggest things that need to be addressed balanced wise. I can't make any promises as to if your suggestion could or would be implemented but I'll definitely take a look to see if it's in the realm of my capabilities and if it fits into the theme of this overall balance overhaul mod.
